My wish for winter maps is a few iced-over ponds/lakes/deep rivers with thick enough ice to support tanks. BUT, I'd like it to be possible to break holes in the ice through explosions. A coding challenge probably, but could be a dynamic wrinkle on the right map. Perhaps IS-2s, Tiger IIs, and Perschings would be more likely to fall through. Definitely would need a test server for such a gimmick.
Huertgen forest battle lasted from september 44 to february 45. About realism, it is a shame that no normandy map has actual bogace terrain even though that campaign was known as "Hedgerow Hell"
That history part got surprisingly long, but it's much more fun to fight in battles knowing that there was actually still a lot on the line and not just another battle that doesn't matter. EDIT: Another reason to go all in at the ardennes offensive were the significantly shorter supply lines for germany. Multiple commanders argued that the quick and decisive victories of 1939/1940 could be repeated when the front line is only dozens Km long and not thousands of Km. The fact that american commanders left only weak troops for defense in the bulge area from not expecting any german attacks made it a perfect opportunity for germany.
If they really wanted to make it "realistic" Aircraft wouldn't be able to spawn till the middle of the match (capture point 3 or so), the Weather during the Battle of Buldge was VERY CLOUDY and I don't think the US or German Airforce could do anything till like January.
wtf the pacific needs more maps for the Japanese or even better USSR vs japan for low br Khalkha Gol maybe not tho because is not "counted as ww2" but we actually need the Manchuria aka the august storm not "needed" but some mongoliain squads for the USSR and some manchukuo squads for the japanese would be nice although the manchukuo squads might be controversial
I don’t think Manchukuo is that controversial for the game, we already have SS pattern canouflages, and now an NKVD Squad (I don’t think either are controversial, it’s a WWII game and these are just realities of WWII).
@@theabsurd9416 yeah but it might get banned some places like China that are sensitive to that kind of stuff for when enlisted does release servers in Asia
I think Darkflow might be spying on me, because a few hours before this map got announced I was thinking to myself about how they should add a new map for the city of Bastogne 😂
I hope that they add pre merge squads into the store in the next major update. Make them expensive, like 30-50k, and only available once the entire tech tree has been researched for that nation
As far as I remember, soviet vs japan was announced as an event. I assume the event is a disguised beta test for ballancing. So I'm optimistic that there will be a soviet vs japan event this year. If I had to guess at the same time as last year's zombie event.
I still haven't internalised Ržev map, but Im definetly tired of many of the older ones, so new is welcome. The game has been running smoothly again, for some reason, and apart of some issues I've had with Gold and premium, I'm genuinely wishful about Enlisted again. Hey Para, would you consider a co-op? I might like to give my 10c on tactics and roles from a team efford POV, something to unite players for some "tit for tat" and adress the issue of "less than helpful solo-players". - If only there was proximity voip that only sends if you're alive.
Really hope they add more appearances for the uniforms getting a bit dated, especially for the new 49th fallschirmjäger unit theres no difference between them and other german units. They do not have the iconic helmets or the unique camouflage uniform 😢 but use the standard german helmet
the images in the post show new areas. they are obv some similarities, but that expected. the buildings, village & river areas are completely new. also the hilly overall concept.
@@paradivision1362 Those are a couple of new assets they've made to replace old placeholders, one of the bridges will still be the same as the old version. Topography is identical to the old version only few things will change it's nothing major for such huge delay with new maps i expected more much more.

Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Soviet Japanese war, Italian Front, theres a lot of fronts too that Enlisted needs to cover. Bastogne is a good start

I think this map will be better than HURTgen but Pacific is starving they ate all the aligators in the creek at this point

It's not a new map just one revitalized area of the current Ardennes. So nothing burger.
