TCoOaC was my standout romantasy read of last year . Have heard mixed things about the sequel but I honestly cant wait to start it . 9 is such a good number for a monthly read. i manage 5-6 and thats a good enough month for me

Issue with one of Eva chases other RH series just couldn’t connect! I would highly recommend Ruthless Boys by Susan Valenti and Caroline Peckham or one of Tessa Hale’s series for an RH Pick 😊
I totally agree about Ever Queen!!!!! So sad 😭 I loved Ever King so much - thought it was just me 😂

Happy Birthday 🐈 🎉 My favourite reads of May were Heat of the Everflame (that ending 🥺) and books 2 & 3 of the A Tale of Stars and Shadow series by Lisa Cassidy. I’ve never heard anyone talk about it but it’s such a great fantasy series. It’s more fantasy than romance heavy but it does have the slowest of all slow burns!
My tbr gets longer and longer with every video of yours buuut it’s fine, I trust your recs like no one else’s so far I‘ve loved every book you ever gave a high rating for 😂 just finished Fates&Furies my highlight this month(4.5⭐️) and now on to HEAT I‘m so excited!!! Also happy bday to Ivy she’s the sweetest princess 🐱❤

If you haven’t read a kingdom of blood and salt by Alexus Calder I highly recommend it. It’s so good and has literary everything you want in it. Vampires, fae, dragons, wolf shifters, sea serpents, menatours, gods and Demi gods, trials, and all out fighting for your life in battle with a god. I think you’ll love it.
I absolutely loved The Ever King and while I did finish the Ever Queen I definitely didn't enjoy it as much. Happy Birthday to Ivy🐱💞

I don’t know if you’ve read bonds that tie by J. Bree but it’s the only reverse harem series that I’ve actually liked. The main character is so good.

I was also in such a slump in May I barely read anything until the end of the month. I read Yellowface (absolutely amazing), Come and get it (Loved!!), powerful (okay, I'm not really a novella girlie), the god of endings (liked but not enough vampire content for a vamp book), and shadow & bone (surprisingly this was actually amazing read it so fast). I definitely want to get to heartless hunter in June and i'm foaming at the mouth waiting for Shadow & Storms!!!

I did end up liking The Ever Queen but it definitely felt like a transitional book and was a bit long for me at times. Definitely not as strong as the first, but I feel optimistic about The Mist Thief!

Im finishing up the very last book in Dark Protectors series, its bittersweet, i will miss this world after all the years ive read in it. Rebecca Zanetti is a great paranormal romance author. I agree about the Deer and dragon, i gave it 2 stars as well. I could not handle the religious trauma in it, only because it never stopped, i felt like ever 3 pages she would go off on a tangent, it was over and over and over and over. I was so disappointed, i hoped it would have been a good one.

I’m glad I waited for your review of The Deer and The Dragon because it doesn’t sound like a book for me anymore.. the synopsis sounded interesting, but the non-binary jokes and the dub con scenes make it a no from me.

Eek the deer and the dragon sounds questionable.
The Deer and the Dragon had one of the most unlikable FMCs I’ve ever read. She is a terrible friend. And it’s such a weird self-insert for the author, on so many levels
