Very nice design. The only criticism I have is that it has skylights in the master bedroom and thus no light control. Bedrooms are for sleeping and you need darkness to sleep. I would never use them anyway because they often leak.

Your concerns are noted, Christopher. We believe in the benefits of designing natural light and fresh air into the home, which skylights provide. The installation is optional at the homeowner and builder's discretion. As to light control, skylights are available with remote controlled room darkening or light filtering shades built in. And the leaking issue you mention is not a function of the skylight itself, but rather the effect of faulty installation and lack of proper flashing. Like any product installed in an opening in the home's exterior shell, it should be professionally installed by certified installers.
