I did for this one just because of circumstances but I’d always recommend doing a bisque and glaze firing

any tips on how to make the scallops even?! find this difficult

I suggest using a seamstress measuring tape to wrap around the bowl and mark out equal sections. For the arch of each scallop you can cut out a template from paper to trace along the bowls edge. Hope this helps!

I used underglaze watered down for a smoother consistency and then transparent glaze over
