Seulgi's known for her Duality like in stage she's fearless and charismatic but off stage she's pretty clumsy, sweet and pure, actually I think this whole concept (good and bad does exist in one person) relates with her duality but with a "little bit" of exaggerating😂
I honestly feel like this song and Criminal could go together. Criminal is about Stockholm syndrome, loving the person who actually hurts you, and her song is basically I will keep hurting you and you will love me more. She stops and says "you are in danger" and Taemin stops and says "destroy me more". I am telling you, they go together!

Seulgi's voice is so unique and not only that, she's such a complete artist. Definitely once of my favorite idols.

INCREDIBLE, RIGHT?!? I was expecting something similar to this for Seulgi's solo debut but I also was not prepared for the OPENING LINE, the outfits, just exactly HOW lethal she was - and the vocals! And .... the album.... is even better than the title track.

What made Seulgi my bias since their debut was her charisma. I really like her voice and visuals but what I like the most about her is her dark and mysterious aura/ vibes yet she can also be cute and bubbly but even at her cute and bubbly times her dark/badass side still shows and I like that about her since not that many female idols have that kind of aura in fact very few .
I feel like she will be the girl version of Taemin in terms of artistry 😊

i loved her debut! i think you should definitely check out the mini album too, i loved basically all the tracks!! (and if anyone here knows, was American Boy by Estelle sampled on Seulgi’s Anywhere but Home? I thought they sounded alike in some parts) but great video once again :)

The song in itself is already a masterpiece but the MV, the lyrics, the choreo...EVERYTHING has a meaning and it's amazing. The lyrics of the song works for various interpretations but I came up to conclusion (watchin RV members react to this and Seulgi's explanation) that the deeper meaning of this is we believe she's talking to another person but if you read the lyrics while watching the MV you can see she's talking to herself; also, the message at the end would make perfect sense. The composition of the song, the lyrics, the visuals...all of it screams duality. If you pay attention even her voice conveys this as she use both a softer innocent tone at times while ripping our souls the second later with a growl or a depper sensual/enchanting voice, she even harmonizes with herself at the end, I meeeeean. I was only a casual listener of RV and Seulgi was one of the members that I knew because of her popularity but I was definitelly (and it's a fvcking crime, shame on me) sleeping on her talent and on her ;;;;; this past days, since I watched this MV out of curiosity I've been fallinf down the rabbit hole because of this woman, they way I have fall for her is insane. She's so SO talented, beautiful and kind...her personality is just UGH and I'm not making sense anymore lol, anyway, her album is ART and would dare to say all of this is SOTY and AOTY material

When I first listened to it l (like 10 minutes ago lol) I thought this was a toxic love song but this time we're hearing the toxic person (which it still can be). But now, after re-reading the message at the end, I'm thinking that it's the evil in her trying to get her to give in and just be evil. It's taunting her because you can't run away from yourself. It's like the devil on your shoulder. (which is ironic because she says "I'm not the devil" but I also think that's because we're always biased towards our own situation). I don't think I'm overthinking the concept, but thinking of it like this actually makes me like the song more.

Hope you're able to do an album listen... the whole thing is perfect! And you should DEFINITELY go back and watch the trailer... it looks like a movie trailer.
There are a couple scene's in Seulgi's mv that remind me of images from 'Devil' (Max) and 'Deep' (Hyo), though done is a totally different way/style, and I personally think Seugli, Max Changmin and Hyoyeon (Hyo) are going to be villain's in the SMCU eventually, but will have some sort of redemption arc. At least Seulgi and Max have now dealt with the 'good and evil with in' theme... and if you watch/re-watch Hyo's 'Deep' she has one red eye, which I read somewhere when Aespa's Savage came out, that that can mean a person is being controlled? I also saw someone else speculate that it could be the Red Force from EXO's storyline that's behind it all.
I don't know... I realize that some people hate that SM is trying to tie them all together, but I think it's going to be incredibly interesting to see how it unfolds!
