Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is the closest thing you'll get lol I actually think Intelligent System took inspiration from that game for this. Those Who Slither in the Dark are veeeeery similar to the IDS faction in that game, as far as being a "secret group with super-advanced technology manipulating everyone into war"

What I wanted to say is that Claude is the only one who doesn't want to conquer Fodlan by war or to kill Edelgard. The two others are violent after the timeskip but he's not. He just wanted to save Fodlan and to change their mentality about crests and others countries but he had to fight because of Edelgard's ambition and Dimitri's obsession.
Really got the Fire Emblem Fever of late, eh? It's a really creative take on this particular song, man. It sounds fantastic! If you're still feeling on the Three Houses creative kick I would love to hear your takes on 'The Apex of the World' or even by far contrast 'Life at Garreg Mach Monestary' at some point~
This was a fun map in Silver Snow. (And Verdant Wind, but I haven't played that route yet. I could go on a tangent about how it copied Silver Snow and not the other way around, but I've already done that enough on Amino.)

Very silly that Nemesus does not revive in SS and Rhea doesn't go "mad" in VW, despite the lore dump in VW, I would assume being far more traumatic than what she says in SS. Imo I would have preferred a church route ending where Byleth transformed (I thought that would happen eventually) and you had to defeat them. That would prevent you from marrying but also be pretty heartwrenching ina good way, if they did it right. Gosh I wish they could rework and add more to the game.

Blue Lions has the most standard Fire Emblem experience (and a fair share of great story moments and cutscenes, unlike Golden Deer and, sadly, Black Eagles so far, haven't finished their story yet though) so if you really end up liking the game and go for a second playthrough, hearing this track will come as a surprise. Even though it does apparently play at some point in the Blue Lions story? Because somehow I had it unlocked.

I Have seen "ancient future" technology and themes in medival fantasy settings before, but none of them quite as drastic, or frankly badass, as this.
Stella Glow has an interesting version of it, you should give it a try, the game really punches you in the gut midway as shit hits the fan.
Also helps that this is the first time Fire Emblem has used the trope.
