- Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds perform "Warehouse" at Farm Aid 2017 at KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, on September 16.
Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help - what can you do?
Dave is such a talented guitarist and yet Tim is THAT much better. Dude is a true virtuoso
Tim is super knowledgeable and practiced. He can play any chord in 10+ variations with improvised scales that fit in more than perfectly with the chord progressions. And he has all of those neat tricks with harmonics, slides, arpeggios, etc...
Dave feels the music. He is a master of rhythm and percussion. He's creative and experimental; an amazing song-writer. His ability to sing while playing is astouding. And he can stretch and bend his fingers in impressively ridiculous ways
Non guitar players don't understand how difficult and intricate this piece is.
It's amazing how many mid-song adjustments Dave makes with the strumming hand. From the way he holds the pick, palm muting, volume, and other subtleties. He somewhat lost the initial "reckless", vocally, he tightened up slightly - and then sometimes greatly - to focus on voice, nobody cared or noticed, and it sounded great! I would have lost the loose wrist completely and given myself shoulder tendinitis. Don't know how he does it. What a performer.
Vocally he lost Recklessly because of his caterwhaling in the beginning lol
I don't see him using a pick most of the time if ever. They're an annoyance.. why give up 3 other fingers you can be playing sub roots with . Takes years of practice...threw pics away years ago ..hate capos too
I'm so glad I was there for this
These two make the best acoustic sounds together!
Can't wait till we're able too become one in a million, slip into the crowd 2021......??
Dave could be humming absolute gibberish and I would still listen
Friends forever
Mr. Tim Reynolds on bass ladies and gentleman
Chris Adams-Easkold Always loved how Tim plays on this when they’re in their duo setting. Tunes allllll the way down to “Drop B”.
You want to know my secret weapon... Its politics honestly i wrote 6 months ago about putting the saudi's into politics.... get them involved in the race... (its in my google history) ... I said im going to put them, we should put them in politics... 4 months later... you see him sitting next to donald Trump... today you see him, them on CNN and fox news..... swear to god... i made it happen. ( but the point is: i got there backs on politics, there on my side TGB the way i mean it)....
Slappin' da bass!
Amongst every other Master on that stage. Pound for pound the most talented collection of artists you’ll ever see anywhere.
Was there...it was a splendid time! Such a great show all day long!
These two are incredible to watch. I so hope to see them live.....
I was at this one, it was incredible. Only upstaged by Neil young in my opinion.
I hope you do as well! (If you haven’t already, since this is a 3 year old comment) :)
Put it on your bucket list . These two together in concert is the best .
Love Dave. I think Tim is an amazingly average guitarist. Personal opinion.
a Duo for the ages!!
Makes me cry
Had a great time at Farm Aid! Such a great set by Dave and Tim.
A true hand cramper playing Dave's part on guitar LOL. Great song!
may he never get arthritis
Its a tough one for sure.
This song is the OG of hand crampers
Incredible. No words
Two greatest ❤️
Such a powerful video. If only I could have been at that concert...
Would be great if they busted out a full band version Sunday in Cville! Awesome farm aid show this year!
a great song one of my favories
Was at this incredible concert, first time ever hearing dave mathews band, I don't care for them but this song felt magical, didn't want it to end
Their concerts are EXTREMELY magical! Took me being dragged to a concert to really appreciate them! I became a HUGE fan after that, 21 years ago!
"I don't care for them." "But this song felt magical" Well, just stick yer "magical ass up yer" you know.
Damn. He’s really into it. So am I
I love the passion of this song
Badass!
Love it. My favorite song ever. Great version. Gang Gang,
This musical intonenality captures perfectly the essence of 🚜 Farm.
17 people who disliked this clearly enjoy nickleback instead.
I am a huge Dave fan. But you have to at least recognize the irony of the fact that many others say the same thing about Dave.
Nickel back SUCKS!
James Woyak,Jr maybe so. But nickelback is known for being your ‘typical rock band’ Dave is on a level nickleback won’t ever reach. He is his own breed of animal. Which is part of why he is so unique
@@SlamDunc_FPV ....pff, that's goes without saying. He's the best.
“Yeah, it’s like if the Beatles were produced by Nickleback. It’s music. But it sucks.”
Dave's voice is sounding better. Seems like the time off did him some good!
😛🐿🥤
John Joo funny, my brother and I say the same thing every year when we hear him hit a high note he wasn’t hitting several years ago.
How many shows do you think he’s done🧐?
Was there. Can confirm. Great sound from these two!
@@LORDBYRONII I'll say at least over 1000.
Thanks
Just WOW
♡Dave Matthews♡
I Love U Dave
I think this song sounds best here with Dave and Tim's parts together
Not sure what I like more...studio version or dave and tim versions.
Full band live versions are ok...but it's like they are completley different songs...that depends what mood I'm in what i want to hear
Here’s my ranking: Dave solo live (all day long), Dave and Tim live, full band live, studio absolutely rock bottom last. To each his own - that’s the beauty. I just loath the production - the cut and paste. The perfection. The silence. Yick!
This is super accurate. They’re all amazing but it depends on what feeling you’re going for
Been a fan for years, I leave only to come back occasionally here and there. I was under the impression Dave’s voice was shot, but he went back in time clearly and stole his vocal cords for a bit.. well done.
It’s 2019 and the shows I’ve heard this far leave much to be desired. He needs a break and to come back with Tim and another fiddle player.. Boyd is sorely missed..
Indeed. Dave mellows it down a tinny bit. Not too much. Aging does it. But, of course, I still prefer the 1999 version, after 7 shows listening to it.
Boyd brought a unique instrumentation to the band. But it did tire, often.
Hey Tim, maybe next concert you can tune your guitar before Dave starts playing? LOL. Love these guys.
I think it's cause he had to down tune his guitar.
Yep
They should get Tim to play Splinter in a really, really dark Turtles flick. It would be sick (the good kind of sick, like when the kids say "lit").
Wow. 39 people that are allergic to awesome music
This is like 3 different songs in one
Guitarists, 442??
Nard Dog approved
Underrated comment
He eatin ' non Gmo to play like that !!
Terrible audience just standing there, a great performance though tim playing bass on his drop D guitar!
Drop C

This question I found in the gap in the sidewalk
You sure Dave sings in key hmm
Dave has his own set of keys. it's cool, don't worry about it so much.
Or you will break fingers or get arthritis in your fingers and wrists haha
Dave needs to work on his vocals. Please get vocal lessons. Out of key a lot. But good guitar work.
He isn't out of key. It's how his voice functions. It's a bit raw, and unique in its timber, and tone.
@@morgandastrup6576 if that's your version of being in key then ok.
Looking forward to your upcoming album
He has been performing this song very much the same way for 30 years and it is wildly popular among his fans. So no, he doesn’t need to “work on his vocals”.
@@CalminCali I guess if you make money and don't care about singing in key and improving your voice then yeah.
