my theory on the ending of chapter 3: the boss is going to be revealed that he werent evil but we cant fix it anymore and we have to end its misery which is why the protagonist is sad
I like the captions you added, it would be cool if you made captions that look like youtubes captions, except better (like a black transparent bar behind it instead of a fully visible black bar with the earthbound font) and not like those flashy captions alot of popular youtubers use.
i don't want a big bar as alot of people might find that annoying and if i put stuff on the screen then it would need to be small enough to not go over the captions which is why i decided to use this one for now as. The box is there so you can see the text very clearly and that could be fixed with a better font so i'll test some new fonts thanks for the suggestion
Maybe the noisemaker badge is actually talking to an npc and every time you do it makes a different noise, kind of like how cluemer sneezes then his dialouge starts
16:35 yo about the final boss i think we might fight him in the place / dimension the weird battle song takes place in since its 2d and all of the sprites there were pixelated
i think that the megaphone can be like the combo system from Mother 3, it might be able to combo and make different sounds or it just could be a normal attack with different sound effects.
I think firebrand will take place in a desert, windforce in like a huge storm area, darkheart in space, and illumina in some kind of heavenly cloud area with giant golden cities everywhere
Nice guesses, though it's confirmed firebrand takes place in a prison in a desert (which is banland), windforce in sfoth, darkheart in a lab which is in the bizville library, and illumina is a sky battle thingy this was a long time ago tho so might change
