Freaking love this channel! all these older games, fighting games in general but also games i never heard of. I knew of this though. but all these games make me reflect on where I was in gaming back then and what I was doing and playing. I was 15 in 2000. So reminds of quake 3 Dreamcast, Goldeneye 007 , Marvel vs street fighter etc
Everything about this game, seems like, the following things, a passing project, a game that's been done for fun, in college, a game, what people wanted to do, based off of a, change of pace, of the previous game that they used to do, as in, games that you take serious or serious ish, this also seems like a game, that ties in with a not so popular Japanese cartoon.
I must say that asura buster has the air combo style of marvel vs Capcom the animation style of the characters is a bit close to pixel art that capcom uses in street fighter alpha of cps 2 and chen mao reflects at certain moments some movements of chun li not exactly but similar cool game play bro geek 🙂
Your so good at being patient with hard A. I, Would love to see you try your hand at MK II in one go. Though I'm sure you have and wouldn't be surprised if it's impossible on one credit with kitana, millena or Sonya as I know you favor female fighters.
There's no excuse, why would some of the most popular fighting game franchises (SF & KOF) not have good old (not to mention fun) chain combos, nowadays?
Man, what a sleek looking game. Looks very fluid and responsive. Now if only Chen Mao's clothes got wet when fighting that jelly creature, it'd be perfect.
