This tutorial is grrrrooooooooovvvvvvvyyyyyyy! I learned so much yet again. See? That's what I love about these longer tutorials. I tend to learn more because all the steps are hands-on. I also get inspired and my mind just goes at 1K/hr coming up with ideas on how I would make your final design different. Thanks!
I have a very technical understanding of Adobe products, however what I like and learn from in your videos, are the methods of workflow you use. I have adhd and find organizing my inspirations and creativity in a timely focused manner difficult. Often I'm all over the place, and while I have a idea and the technical knowledge to carry out my inspiration, the fact that you show your process on how you manage your color layers and such helps me learn good practices. Often tutorials concentrate on a step by step of what buttons to click. I also enjoy that your often playing around with your work, instead of just having a set template with no deviation. Thanks for the great content, keep up the good work.
I've never used Adobe illustrator before, and I managed to do a replica of your Rocket ship. Damn, thank you so much for this tutorial! I learnt sooooo much!
Honestly, i've seen many tutorials, instructors, sites ..etc for teaching PS and AI, but i never seen a TALENTED instructor as you are. For me i spent many years convenience myself to bear a 10 seconds tutorial to get most use of it, BUT YOU !!! 51 min gone like a second man !, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Greetings from Egypt
I can barely sit through a 5 minute video sometimes but I just sat through this and it was engaging the entire time... You're incredible! Thanks so much, I feel like I learned a LOT!
Sir please make more illustration video and post that on youtube. Because you are the inspiration of mine for learning Illustrator. You are the best Illustrator teacher on youtube. God bless you.
Nate, when you think about it, at around 22:30 the three fins shouldn't have their bottoms lined up, since the middle fin is closer to the viewer it would technically be bigger and appear to touch lower down
This tutorial is incredibly educational. I just love the way you explained things for beginners. The best tutorial video I have watched so far. Just love your energy too! Keep helping us like this! Thank you 🤝
Wandering whole the web your tutorial make me great day to start learning easy to understand amazing creativity and notification bells within couple of days. Really love to share this tutorial coz Share always Care, I forward to hear from you amazing Tutorial.
This took me a really long time to complete as I am very new to Illustrator (only been at it a few days) but I still really enjoyed it. You could have spoken just a little more slowly and made the video a fraction longer. I might not have had to replay so many section in order to follow everything you were doing (though my hearing isn't the best).
Great job! Loved the video! Only thing that tickled my inner ocd was that the left fin was slightly out of place compared to the right fin (or the other way around).
You are such a best teacher great work you know i done this with the help of you video in just 4hours 😂 😂 :) ❤️ thanks for this and waiting for next video tut
Great tutorial and very nice video, crystal clear and with nice bokeh. I am curious, what kind of camera did you use to make this video? I am going to buy that camera ASAP! :)
I have a completely different question.... say . I made a graphics like this.... can I add any security features so that others can't claim that its theirs?
It's easier to see the effect in action if your grid is visible. Basically, it snaps the edges of artwork to the grid lines. If the grid isn't visible, it's like an invisible force clicking and clacking your artwork all over, haha
Oh i get it. Now the whole clacking can be seen visibly to what its based to and what the artwork is binded to. Thanks alot for the response sir. Do make more tutorials
Hi, I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. When setting up the colours at the beginning, my colours are way off. I type in the given # codes but I don't end up with the same results at first. The H - B and # values are the same, however my CMYK values are not similar to yours at all, and this happens automatically. I can manually change them to yours and that gives me the same colour eventually, but could someone explain to me why this is happening? I thought the whole point in # values was that it's the exact same colour across all systems and monitors? I am in RGB colour mode, if that helps.
You sir are a detail oriented individual, and I like that. Just please don't use the phrase 'bad boy' when referring to inanimate objects. It really bugs me. No offence big boy.

What is the difference between merge and unite
Loved the tutorial and the small rhyme while placement of that satellite.
"Its way too bright, It doesn't look right" 😂
what does "snap to grid" do exactly? btw this channel is the best i've come across! lodes of love

What about animate this in AE? 😎😂
Really couldn't see the satellite and the clouds. I think the opacity was too low
Tha's the beauty. You can turn it up very easily :D
In the next video tutorial, i do hope you can speak a little more slowly.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video! 👌
Change speed to 0.75 and you will be good to go! He talks really fast, almost too fast sometimes :P Great tutorials thanks!
Thanks for the pro tip, Crystal :D Glad you enjoyed the video, too 🍻
plankton and rocket are close
ı did it
I must be super dumb because I can't figure out how he made that shape with the pen tool for the life of me.
I was the same! I had to combine pens, I don't know why he didn't have to do that because my pen tool certainly didn't make curved lines! @tutvid
I think the bottom ring of the rocket's body is not good, 'cos it's not symmetrical,
Anyway, the tut is very good like always.
Thanks!!!
who had to watch this on 0.75 or 0.5 speed??
cuz i had to....
Default stroke is so annoying
You sir are a detail oriented individual, and I like that. Just please don't use the phrase 'bad boy' when referring to inanimate objects. It really bugs me. No offence big boy.
Slow speak bro
Half of the things you did provided different and unusable results for me as far as shape manipulation goes.
You spin your cursor around way too much.... for no reason.
