Happy First Contact Day!!!!
"I was just floating"... says the disembodied Borg queen.
Data could have cracked the columns at any time he was walking around. There was no reason to wait that long.
First Contact is one of my favorite Star Trek movies. Saw it twice in theaters when I was 13 years old and loved every moment of it.
Oh How I miss TNG.
Why? Theres so much trek currently including picard, nothing to miss its still here
@@Ottophil Are you kidding? STD is the worst Trek show of them all and less said about Picard the better
@@Ottophil Sadly, No. Today's Trek is a far cry from the days of old. Savvy old school TNG Trek fans would notice that distinction. While I think it's great Trek exists in some form or rather, it is less than Ideal vs Gene Roddenberry's vison. Gene was still alive and involved with TNG in some form back then. Today, w/o Gene, we have producers and big wigs taking liberties with the franchise and taking it in a direction that is rubbing fans the wrong way.
Easily the best S.T. movie imo
I second this opinion. "Wrath of Khan" = 2nd best. "First Contact" = THEE best!
Wrath of Khan was my favourite till First Contact came out
It sure would be great to see Alice return to Picard as the Borg Queen again perhaps even without all the Borg augments on her.She still is a fine looking woman with the same sexy eerie look in her face.Perhaps she has decided to look more human to woe and become Picard's new love interest?!
Why would Alice Krige want to be associated with that garbage train wreck of a series? Sure she has more integrity to appear in that horrible trash.
Pretty sure she doesn't need the money either.
Loved the movie, even if it didn't make a helluva lot of sense. So great to see these folks talk about the movie, especially Alice Krige.
how did they get back to the future at the end? i'm having trouble remembering and googling this haha
I never watched "Voyager," so maybe I missed something, but wouldn't this moment have been the end of the Borg? The Queen was destroyed, which would have filtered down to the rest of the Collective and killed them all. So Picard and the "Next Generation" crew were responsible for the ultimate destruction of the Borg, not "Voyager"? Or did I miss something because, like I said, I never watched "Voyager"?
I think it's believed that there are multiple Queens, not just one entity.
Well, that's just odd, because watching the show, we were led to believe there was the one Collective with the one Queen. That's what I picked up, anyway. Then again, it's "Star Trek," so who really knows what?
@@mousenomiatadpole6437 I guess there always is just one Collective with one Queen, she just gets replaced.
@@Plush.Hunter Yeah. This is why I could never write sci-fi - the logic of it hurts my head.
It’s because Voyager couldn’t think up their own unique antagonists so they just went back to Borg well and ignored cannon.
Nemesis was better.
I enjoy the series because there's no swearing.
