Hello from Spain, Interesting video. One question, why do you use this type of iso floats instead of normal bobbers for rock fishing? I mean, why do you use this type of iso floats for rock fishing? What's the difference between these iso floats and normal bobbers for fishing? Thank you very much.
These are floats are same as bobbers but super sensitive to bites. Fish will feel less resistant to iso floats depending what number you use. Less effect to winds and current movements. Bobbers are large and bulky Generally speaking. Iso fishing uses small thinkers and smaller hooks and generally the bait in hook look more natural and sink more naturally. I have been fishing over 35yrs rocking and only 2 years ago turned to iso fishing and you catch more targets. Way more fun... Try it. Though it is lot more expensive with iso style. The iso rods are so super strong now and so thin and so lite..
Hello, this video was a great help to me. thanks for sharing. I have 3 questions about sinker, and I would be very grateful if you could help me, since I cannot find this information on the internet. 1-I understand that if you are going to fish in shallow water, you should use a light sinker, such as G or B, and if you are going deep sea fishing, better to use a -1 or - 2 sinker. But what happens when it is shallow, 2-4 meters, but there is a lot of current? What happens to me is that the light sinkers cannot go deep when the sea is very moving, even if they are shallow waters. 2- The second question is about the type of sinker that is best to use, since I have seen cone-shaped sinkers, which are anchored to the line by means of a stem, and I have also seen another type, which are NOT anchored to the line, since the line runs free through them. What is better to use? 3- The last question is about the shape of the sinkers. I have seen sinkers in many different ways. I think that if the sinker has a rounded shape, it is more aerodynamic, so the current will affect it less, while the cone shaped sinkers will be carried away by the current more easily. I'm wrong? Thanks for your time.
Hello, You are right. When the current is too strong you need to use heavier sinkers. You need to consider wind, current, wave, distance, etc to determine your sinker weights. The ones that are freely moving along the line are usually the heavier ones and can be recycled. You can use them when you are using bobbers above 0.5 You are right on that the shapes matter. Usually, higher the surface area, it gets more affected by the current. So, rounded ones are more affected by the current than the ones that are stick-shaped. Thank you very much for watching my video!
