I was working on different methods after reading the comments in the Grail V2 about console. I remember reading one where you replied and said youre working on a video about it... you dont disappoint! Just wanted to say I appreciate your videos you are genuinely my favorite builder!
Still works on both PTB and regular crust. I run a ps4. Follow what he says for the setup but place square foundations instead of triangles for the pixel gap. I found it to be easier since you can see the pixel drop on the second foundation when placing it. If you are playing on PTB you need to jump a second time after moving off the carpet.
I personally cannot get the PC method to work. I still had to use the carpet to achieve the pixel gap. However, with adding the second jump, the gap is big enough to where you can hqm the walls and still access the tc.
I watched Rust vids for seven years before the release of “CRUST” 😂 the algorithm knew I coveted the pixel gap. Ai is scary but sometimes it’s helpful 🤷♂️ Love your content! 👍👍

Ok so aftet multiple test it does work on new ptb update but you must jump a second time after you move off the rug jump again and place when u get the blue triangle you can build the pixel gap tc
Okay, I’ve tried this over & over on CRust PTB & cannot get it to work. The triangle in the middle won’t turn blue. Says not enough space. Has anyone else got this to work on CRust? A friend with me tried it too & it didn’t work. Tried turning down sensitivity & switching sticks. 😟
Make sure you only use the left stick when placing foundys and crouch jump and stay crouched and place the half wall on top I was messing that up at first
Turn sensitivity down in game settings before strafing, and if you have any stick drift on your left stick go into the consoles settings and switch the analogue sticks over.

It was cool seeing my comment to 😂😂 I made the duo dream since I couldn’t do the pixel gaps on grail V2. It came out amazing I also utilized the very good offset TC bunkers from the grail V2 and I’ve just learned so much from your videos I made a lil hybrid from everything I learned.
I don’t think this works anymore :/ I think the carpets hit box is too small or something, I’m able to get the all blue triangle and the two half wall’s separated, but the gap is too tiny to see through. I’ve done this trick before but it doesn’t seem to be working now.
Ok i wanna be completely honest this works on regular rust but after the update on ptb you cannot build the pixel gap idk why but it wont give the pixel gap can u make a new video on this this would be helpful to the community
Iam on official right now and tryed for so long time. Dosent get the first Middle triangle to get blue. Done this base tons of times but dont get it to work anymore. Have you Done this on official ?
I got it to work work yesterday upgraded to metal, but the sweetspot to actually access through the pixel gap is so overly exact its almost not worth it I used almost every deployable, ramp , and stairs, I couldn't access with stairs, ramp, or most deployables. And the times I could access there were exact spot for each one, instead of it being level based like when this video was released, if you were the right "height" you could access through the whole pixel gap left to right. In my testing yesterday, it was specific, singular spots on the gap per deployable, the rest of the gap was "sealed"
Hey GL, I have tried this quite a few times and still having an issue getting the blue triangle. I notice that what your community member is doing and your directions don’t exactly match up. Any more tips to add to help?
The directions don't match up? I would say if the blue thing doesn't come up then it's because either the second triangle isn't pushed as deeply as possible into the first, or because of sideways stick drift
@@GameLightzI apologize in advance if none of this makes a difference in the outcome. Starting at 1:15, Nerfed is starting the two square build and they put a rug down. Nerfed jumps onto the rug and crouches to set the preferred foundation height. In your narration you tell the viewer to jump, (while on the rug already) then crouch, but Nerfed never seems to stand up from being crouched while setting foundation height so they don’t follow that direction. Your explainer at the end starting at 3:59 wouldn’t be 1:1 with Nerfed’s footage. Nerfed jumps onto the rug, you walk onto it. Nerfed stays crouched after setting foundation height and jumps while crouched and you stand up after setting height, jump, then crouch again. None of those differences may matter, I’m just trying to figure out why I can’t get that blue triangle!! I tried for over an hour. Huge fan GL, you are a builder by my own heart. ❤ P.S. There is a smaller creator named @Benjaminplaysrust who does this technique where you can move the pixel gap around easily. He makes really cool non conventional base builds too.

I have the edge controller, no stick drift, tried multiple different stick sensitivity customizations. I am also confused by the discrepancy in your instructions and what was actually performed in the footage. Can anyone help?!?! 🤓
@@Breakinglink I can do this regularly now. My process: place rug perpendicular to the triangle you are placing, not parallel (so you go off the rug sooner). Turn left stick deadzone to 50%. Stand on rug. Crouch. Get triangle positioned with the support legs underneath just at ground level (or halfway submerged-have gotten both heights regularly). Stay crouched. Jump (still on rug). As smooth as you can, strafe right. When the triangle first turns red, slow down and you want to place it the very millisecond it turns blue. Doing it this way, I can usually get it several times in a row. I have never gotten it to work moving the triangle back to the left after going right. Good luck bruh

You just need to be more precise with your strafing. Your probably moving forwards or backwards a tiny bit. You can probably use low walls to push against to alight yourself more accurately

I tested a PS5 controller vs PS4 controller (PS5 controller has stick drift) and found that I had a better time following these steps with the PS4 than PS5. I am a bit concerned that buying another PS5 controller will lead to inevitable stick drift so I will follow the advice given by others but using a PS4 controller just for the triangles and switch back after. Hope this helps even though its months later.
Gotta say, I was thoroughly annoyed perfecting the hqm dance only to find out it doesn't work on console. Wish he would make a console guide with a fix like this.
Not really no :P Even my solo bases are getting so complex that a solo base is a 30 minute video. But that said, I don't play large groups often, and when I do, we always build a village, so :)

I'm sure it will help out a lot of returning players. I'm having a really hard time setting up perpetual lights timed sprinklers and a custom turret on a solo player scale. For say this wipe I'm living in your bunker of doom. All the videos are for set ups that are to big or complex for such a small build and I don't have the experience or time to set it up properly, the turret will turn on and off continuously every now and then. I'd greatly appreciate any help my guy.

They are probably using xim so they can do it with a keyboard. No diagonal movement with a keyboard like there is with a controller. Think that's the issue.
Yeah, you ain’t getting that reliably without mnk. The method isn’t the problem as all the variables are known, there’s no way to 100% know if you’re actually centered or if there’s been any deviation in going exactly to the right & you often can’t see it until the 2nd foundations down. I’ve managed to get floor stacking like this but even when the middle foundation looks like it’s perfect it’s never gone blue.

This only works if ur cheating and using Xim to be able to have a button that lets u walk to the right. Beeing able to perfectly move in one direction with a analog stick back and forth is extremly unlikely to happen
They must have patch this on Console cuz there's no Gap I done the whole thing right it just does no Gap the triangle was blue but I know it's possible I don't know if there's a different way though
I've managed to a pixel gap once before on a build server, but it was incredibly frustrating to achieve. You've just my life a million times easier. Gamelightz, you really are the undisputed number 1 when it comes to building on rust. Thank you, you're a gentleman and a scholar ❤
@jorgecosio5345 place out 3 square foundations in a row and place a ramp on one of the end ones. Start on the middle foundation and get your building plan out to get your lower foundation height at the right height. Then, slowly move towards the ramp whilst facing sideways with your building plan in hand. As you move slowly toward the ramp at 1 point, the foundation you want to place will snap to the foundation you are standing on. Slowly move further up the ramp to the point the foundation you want to place un snaps from the one you are stood on and then place it, then slowly move in the opposite direction and make sure the next foundation you place is tight into the first. If you've done it correct the the 3rd foundation will be blue and you'll be able to pixel gap. Somehow, I managed to get the foundations coreect after around 45 minutes of trying. Then, trying to get access to the TC took around another 15 minutes of trying. Bear in mind I was working with a scuffed ps5 controller, suffering from stick drift. When I get a new controller, I'll try again just to make sure it wasn't a lucky 1 off.

Your able to make a hqm pixel bunker on crust, I did it in one of my old bases you just gotta be hiem, and find a setup that works for you

Stick drift is most commonly caused by dust and can be easily fixed (in most instances) with a blast of compressed air.

There's no command, it's a server plugin

The Building on console works but i can See Any Pixel gap

You can do pixel gaps on console much easier than this... Well they're only floor pixel gaps, not wall ones.
I've managed to a pixel gap once before on a build server, but it was incredibly frustrating to achieve. You've just my life a million times easier. Gamelightz, you really are the undisputed number 1 when it comes to building on rust. Thank you, you're a gentleman and a scholar ❤

@jorgecosio5345 place out 3 square foundations in a row and place a ramp on one of the end ones. Start on the middle foundation and get your building plan out to get your lower foundation height at the right height. Then, slowly move towards the ramp whilst facing sideways with your building plan in hand. As you move slowly toward the ramp at 1 point, the foundation you want to place will snap to the foundation you are standing on. Slowly move further up the ramp to the point the foundation you want to place un snaps from the one you are stood on and then place it, then slowly move in the opposite direction and make sure the next foundation you place is tight into the first. If you've done it correct the the 3rd foundation will be blue and you'll be able to pixel gap. Somehow, I managed to get the foundations coreect after around 45 minutes of trying. Then, trying to get access to the TC took around another 15 minutes of trying. Bear in mind I was working with a scuffed ps5 controller, suffering from stick drift. When I get a new controller, I'll try again just to make sure it wasn't a lucky 1 off.
