Thanks man. That is a sketchy little slope site with lots of obstacles yet super fun to zip around. I keep going back even though the site has trashed a lot of my gliders.
That sure looks like a hoot. Id have liked to have seen the shape of the slope and height. I`m now on the search for a site and have a alula en route to me. thx for the cool video.
Sorry for the super late reply. Thank you for your kind words, I am glad that you liked my video and hopefully your Alula has arrived and you are enjoying it. The shape of that hill is a bit odd, as one slope with a thin treeline in front of it faces north, and another portion of the slope with another thin treeline in front faces the west. That day the wind was mostly blowing from the north. If you are interested in getting a different view of this hill and its shape, here is a video with some glider chase cam footage that shows the slope site from higher elevation: th-cam.com/video/jIVLtLTpUWQ/w-d-xo.html
That was awesome. Thanks for showing the blooper reel, reminds me that I'm not the only one screwing up.
Super fast Alula, and really good flying skills....

Thanks, the Alula is so fun to fly. I was flying with elevon control on right stick.
That sure looks like a hoot.

Muy buen vuelo Gracias
Thank you, it was so much fun.
Did you add weight? Its faster than mine. Or at least it seems faster. I too like finding places with lift.
The Alula Trek does have ballast provision however for this flight it was flown empty, without ballast.
This has nothing to do with lift, my friend. This is Dynamic Soaring performed by a pilot with excellent flying skills.
