greetings from Oregon....when I was surfing ..well..actually boogieboarding in Southern Calif while growing up I would always say to myself....after a good wave riding...Kawabunga! Or some say..Cowabunga! I don't surf in Oregon because the water is toooo cold as you might relate in your country. But every now and then I would trek to Manhattan Beach, CA and spend HOURS surfing. My daughter loves it too. (she's 19 now). Love this video and I'm glad you got to do it.
I am a "Tico" and it is awesome to know that you liked and enjoyed your first time been here in my country. Obviously apologize for the loss of your phone but I believe that sadly can happen in most of touristic places in many countries. I laughed so bad with your reaction when you saw the "garrobo" lol :) (which is the name of the wild animal you saw) they are completely harmless and I can warrant you, that they are more scared of people than people should be of them. I have a friend in Norway I have been wanted to go there for years maybe next year is going to be possible. I think it is an incredible and breathtaking country as well. Pura vida

As I live in Taiwan(subtropical weather like island in east Asia) The surfing is a thing and I know where to surf but I never try to do so Seeing you flying that far going for a surfing lesson is like WOW for me Maybe it's time to try new things and challenging myself And also I had never went to a place where is norther (colder)than Japan where is only a 3 hours flight Great courage~~ And also a little support from Taiwan(not sure how many Taiwanese watching your videos tho)

I know what it means to lost you phone duringduring holiday. I've lost mine two years ago somewhere in the ocean near Menorca when we did an inintentional escimoroll with our kanu:-) Since then i upload all my videos and pictures automaticly to the cloud as soon as i have a WiFi connection to the internet:-)
Im glad you had a great time and i know there will be some wanna be chads who surfed their whole life long and are like sUrFinG iSNt hArD but i surfed once and it was a really strange feeling doing it for the first time because its somehow uncomparable. I didnt had enough time to do more than one lesson but i would have loved it too do many more.
