im glad u actually said this because i was getting annoyed at people saying they use these to fall asleep. That would upset the living crap out of me especially considering how much visual editing i use, its a video, not a podcast. And he clearly has a lot to say that should be heard in full.

I am glad to see a video on Bobs Burgers. I dont watch series anymore, but back when I did, Bobs Burgers was my favourite. It feels so genuine and sweet, while holding up a complexity resembling reality, especially compared to most other "adult animated" series. This series hold a special place in my heart. Thank yoy
Makes sense you don't watch it anymore, it morphed into another show wearing the skin of it's former self. You might enjoy that new show more but it's a new show nonetheless.
i used to watch this show from season 1 to the latest seasons multiple times in a row, a continuous binge, drove my gf nuts at the time. it's just rlly a major comfort show, i still cry at the season 4 finale, the episode where bob visits his mothers grave, the movie, so many episodes are just so heartfelt, it's truly amazing how it can be funny and meaningful at the same time.
I don't like it when the family hates each other. I will never watch family guy or anything like that. I grew up in a toxic family and bobs burgers made me happy... sounds strange but I wanna have what he does a job I love. A husband who deals with my weirdness and is odd himself. And wacky loveable children who always has each other's back. It's the dream
I grew up in a toxic household but one that grew and now is incredibly healthy. Our family put in the work to be better, I completely agree. I hate watching shows where the family hates each other. Sure it’s never perfect but I want to see parents that actually like their kids and support them. I want to see a couple that maybe it’s not always amazing but they love each other and are happy together. They aren’t rich, they struggle, but they’re so supportive of each other.
I’m the exact same way, except I don’t want kids myself, but the Linda family episodes always made me feel weird to the point where I skip them. It always felt like they were trying to normalize the clearly inappropriate and/or enabling behavior that happened in their family or push the whole “family is blood love them and never criticize them no matter what” idiocy that leads to abuse with her parents and gayle- despite Linda being able to do so to her own kids, making herself a hypocrite in every episode like that- even shaming bob in multiple episodes for trying to get her to even think about her family’s dynamic (gayle repeatedly assaulting bob, faking injuries, stealing money from their children, her parents stealing his charger, having sex while visiting them in their own child’s room, never getting gayle help, regifting a book with sex in it to their kids)
I’m the exact same way, except I don’t want kids myself, but the Linda family episodes always made me feel weird to the point where I skip them. Bobs burgers is probably my favorite overall show. I’ve watched it every single day for about as long as my girlfriend and I have been together; almost 2 years now. Before that; I watched the show just about every day for another 3 years. I come back to it more than anything; my girlfriend puts it on literally every night to fall asleep. With this; Over The Garden Wall, smiling friends, Morel orel etc, idk how your taste is so strikingly familiar to mine but its so comforting.
Just ended my disney+ subscription like two weeks ago, and have been missing bob’s burgers sm. Thank you for this perfect pick-me-up of zbob’s Burger’s content 😆

I absolutely love Bob's burgers probably my favorite "adult" cartoon right after King of the hill. I wish we would get more episodes of like "Brunchsquatch". Also I still like whenever we see Bob's back he still has that little part of a tattoo from the Equestranauts episode.

I honestly think bobs burgers is ten times better than the Simpsons and family guy, mainly because the jokes aren’t centred around abusing your kids and hating your spouse. Bobs burgers shows a functional family that loves and respects each other, each kids quirks is respected and part of their personality instead of being ridiculed by it like in family guy and the kids don’t get strangled if they misbehave like in the simpsons
Modern Family is also a show that presents a comedic but more realistic family (where there are funny flaws, but the characters actually like each other).
i really do enjoy this video! i love introspections about cartoons and how a show develops over time, and reviews and thoughts about singular episodes. and bob's burgers is my current favorite show as well, so this video is fantastic! the one minor nitpick i do have about the video is that its a little jarring with just speaking. the mic quality is fantastic, but the lack of any background music makes the video feel a little empty. but overall, what a good video! clearly theres passion put behind this. :-)
Mutiny at the Windbreaker is the first hard gold episode of the show. Each character feels fully developed and it's consistently really funny. Louise is in full goblin mode.
That episode was about the point where I began to realize how consistently good the writers are at ensuring every member of the Belcher family has something to do in each episode, even those that don't feature them - you never get the idea that a major character is forgotten about or overlooked.

I know I want to watch it but it's on Apple TV and I don't have it and there's not many shows I would want to watch on Apple it's sad and a huge inconvenience I think central park would be a lot better off if it were more accessible like on TV or on multiple streaming sites
These are great. I'd love to see you do regular show. The way the show grows and the recurring theme episodes, and callbacks from so many side characters, skips' backstory, the rival park etc., would make for a good long episode. And if you haven't seen it, it's a fairly easy show to run through. Plus it's on HBO max and hulu.

Something was missing in the video, I was wondering what for about an hour. The moment I decided to let it go and continue watching carefree, I realised what ir was - the music. After my King of the Hill video was hit by copyright for music I've been using for months, I started to worry that bgm that's been fine before might have the rules suddenly change and so I've decided to stop using bgm altogether. It's upsetting to me as well, but at least my audience is free to include their own music now.
Both Hotline Miami and Persona 5 triggered it, which are tracks I've used before. My fear is that a song I use in a future video will get demonitized months after uploading and I would need to delete hundreds of comments to correct the issue.

You can still safely use game osts, I can maybe even give pointers - I use music in the videos I edit for that channel from time to time, and it always works out fine
I'm justifying the change by saying that fans can play their own music; A lot of my viewers listen to my videos in the background of something else anyway. And of course, it means slightly less work for me.

This is the best and funniest era of the show (1-4) because they focus more on being funny than needing to learn a lesson like the newer episodes. The newer episode (even if they still have some good episodes they feel like a full house episode this hilarious era of the show is what made me love the show.
Bob specifically uses triple.A meat triple a meat Strict requirements on how the cow lives to get that rating. So Bob specifically is not supporting abuse of farming practices. By using triple A Meet.
only problem is that the series tries for character progression and growth (bob and his parents, linda and her sister, tina and jimmy jr/love interests, Louise becoming less homicidal and more empathetic, even gene going out of his comfort zone) and they don’t continue it
I quite like this show but I can't stand Linda. She's so self absorbed. When she gets a stupid idea she expects everyone around her to put up with her moronic borderline insane behavior that she takes way too far often causing all sorts of problems for her entire family.
I think every character in Bob's Burgers is more or less insufferable in a vacuum. Bob is stoic to a fault and tries to shut down any fun that he's not in charge of. Linda constantly tries to be the center of attention, especially when it's inappropriate. Tina is a super creep with little regard for consent or decency. Gene shouts absolutely everything and fails to understand why people are put off by him. Louise is totally incapable of ever admitting when she's at fault for things she does on purpose. And yet, as soon as you put more than one of them into a room together, they immediately start to bring out each other's best qualities in a way that feels genuine while also making their weaknesses covered up by someone else's strengths.
Tried to sleep to your video; got 15 minutes in; heard you say the word transvestite, and wanted to tell you that its a slur you shouldn't use. Dont say "Transvestite" in any sense. Its the same as "tranny" which is also an old outdated slur. was really excited to see you post this; but now im sad.
I genuinely think Bob's Burgers is the only adult cartoon since South Park not to have peaked by it's 100th episode. Even after 12 seasons, it still manages to be an enjoyable watch week after week. Can't say that about The Simpsons or Family Guy.
You're totally right. Season 14 even contains some of the best episodes of the series, like The Amazing Rudy. That episode had me in tears, and feeling so impressed by the way that they can still have episodes of this quality.
You can enjoy the episodes of the latest seasons but it's not the same show anymore, sometimes I forget Bob is even cooks burgers until I remember the name of the show watching the newest episodes. There's also way too much positivity and lack of consequence in the newer episodes. It's like the crew is embarrassed by it's earlier seasons or is trying as hard as they can to make something that counters it's earlier nature. So the series may not have "peeked" but it certainly changed it's tracks and went another direction and I don't know if that's better or not.

only problem is that the series tries for character progression and growth (bob and his parents, linda and her sister, tina and jimmy jr/love interests, Louise becoming less homicidal and more empathetic, even gene going out of his comfort zone) and they don’t continue it

I quite like this show but I can't stand Linda. She's so self absorbed. When she gets a stupid idea she expects everyone around her to put up with her moronic borderline insane behavior that she takes way too far often causing all sorts of problems for her entire family.
I think every character in Bob's Burgers is more or less insufferable in a vacuum.
Bob is stoic to a fault and tries to shut down any fun that he's not in charge of.
Linda constantly tries to be the center of attention, especially when it's inappropriate.
Tina is a super creep with little regard for consent or decency.
Gene shouts absolutely everything and fails to understand why people are put off by him.
Louise is totally incapable of ever admitting when she's at fault for things she does on purpose.
And yet, as soon as you put more than one of them into a room together, they immediately start to bring out each other's best qualities in a way that feels genuine while also making their weaknesses covered up by someone else's strengths.

Awww BB. The show that got bad so quick. I loved all those characters but it just got so boring after the first few seasons.
I feel as though the show reinvented itself sometime around season 4 or 5 and some preferred the change while others liked the old style better.
I genuinely think Bob's Burgers is the only adult cartoon since South Park not to have peaked by it's 100th episode. Even after 12 seasons, it still manages to be an enjoyable watch week after week. Can't say that about The Simpsons or Family Guy.
You're totally right. Season 14 even contains some of the best episodes of the series, like The Amazing Rudy. That episode had me in tears, and feeling so impressed by the way that they can still have episodes of this quality.

You can enjoy the episodes of the latest seasons but it's not the same show anymore, sometimes I forget Bob is even cooks burgers until I remember the name of the show watching the newest episodes. There's also way too much positivity and lack of consequence in the newer episodes. It's like the crew is embarrassed by it's earlier seasons or is trying as hard as they can to make something that counters it's earlier nature.
So the series may not have "peeked" but it certainly changed it's tracks and went another direction and I don't know if that's better or not.
