Great video, can you please add bookmarks to your future videos please? Makes a world of difference to me as a viewer. I'm considerably more likely to watch the video if I can see the chapters & content
Thank you for the interesting video and explanations! However, I do believe that a comparison of various accents can confuse listeners who are not familiar enough with English. Then, let me please advise you to pay the most attention to the PR accent. Thank you!
Nice delivery, Simon. Since this is all about language, and the audio quality is crucial, might I respectfully suggest you invest in a decent close microphone, rather than using the camera's built-in mic? I think it would raise the production value no end. Apologies for the nit-picking.
Out of curiosity, I checked that vid (about silent letters?), and it does still sound as though the camera mic is being heard, even though I can see the Rode on your lapel. I actually own a pair of those, and I've found that in post, you do have to boost the volume of the recorded signal a bit. I don't know if you have it Bluetoothed to your phone/camera, or whether you're syncing the audio in post, but I find that even in a very 'roomy' sounding room, you can hear the proximity effect from them, and they do reduce the room's natural reverb. No need for the 'dead cat' wind muff when indoors. In the past, I've been conviced the camera was using the external mic, when it wasn't. As a test, I'd just record 'on mic', then dump the audio file via USB into whatever editing software you use - and mute (or severely reduce the level of) the camera audio. Apologies once more for the unsolicited meddling! ;-)
Where are you from? I'm very dynamic when presenting live, but I project my voice and being "loud" isn't shouting. That's my style and also other people's. You can never please everyone. I have some live videos you can watch and other where I teach people how to use their voice. I've rewatched this video and both the delivery and volume would be judged normal in British and American culture. It's better to put "it seems to ME. ..because How we see reality is very subjective. Your comment is interesting for that reason. Thanks for the feedback. 😃
Nicely explained. I love your presentation. Thank you , Sir.
Thank for the great job! Keep it up!

Not all American accents are the same. Our Southern American accent is more like the British, in educated people.
Your videos help me a lot, THANK YOU!

Classic say Britain mean England
@@RobinGalloway-q1b England is in Britain
Britain is the island, which includes England, Scotland, and Wales.
@@RobinGalloway-q1b it's political. England , Scotland and Wales are in Britain. That's just the way it is.
You seem to be shouting. Thanks for the content but it comes across a bit frantic/impatient/nervous/lecturing at times.
