The first time I visited in 2010 it was definitely easier than it is now. As a planner though I kind of enjoy the preparation for the trip 😅 I do relate to both of you: I am definitely not wired to just go with the flow. Like Louisa said: “I have not seen any evidence of it being fine without the planning” 😂 But this is a great reminder for us planners that we will still have a great time if things don’t go quite as we planned. I had a few hiccups in my plans last time and I do tend to beat myself up for a while after. Thank you for another great episode! As a person who doesn’t spend much time on TH-cam I am really enjoying following the show here.
Thank you so much for watching and we love that you’re enjoying the show and the new format! Yeah we are on a never ending journey to be more chill haha.
I think it’s so hard for people to let go of the idea that they’re going to do “everything” at Disney because it really is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for a lot of people and there often isn’t a “next time” to do whatever was missed. However, narrowing your list of “must-do’s” is definitely necessary for avoiding disappointment! I love the idea that everyone in the travel party picks one “must do” per day and those are the things that definitely happen. Then, anything else that you manage to accomplish is a wonderful extra experience that adds to the magic!
This is so valid and true! Our first trip I really did not expect to be back soon and I pushed my family HARD 🥲 We had a great time but not a relaxing one.
Like the comment you shared, I am not a podcast girl, but I enjoy watching videos of people chatting about things like Disney when I run on the treadmill! I am looking forward to the part 2 related to intentional planning! With a 3 1/2 year old on my next trip, I think that will be important!
Congratulations on your video podcast, Serena Lyn. The format and production are great, and the show is very enjoyable to watch. The Tiny Tourist segment is an especially great touch and sets you apart from other content creators. You and Louisa make a great team, and I'm sure that this channel will be a huge success. All the best to you both as you navigate your magical journey.
It’s not complicated at all if you are interested and love wdw. You enjoy planning and figuring it out. If your just blazay about it and don’t care to be there than you will suffer. lol. Tip. If you can’t take the time to plan. Don’t go . You’ll make everyone around you miserable and ruin other peoples fun. If my partner starts being negative at all, I leave her at the hotel and go have fun on my own. Done. Have a blast!!!!!
I'll tell you the problem with Disney World Bob iger's ego before he even put Bob chapak as the CEO he bought up 20th Century Fox movie Library plus other channels that was about like he let his ego go ahead his brain when Universal put a bid for 65 billion dollars Bob Iger puts a bed of 71.3 billion dollars which is the reason why it's so expensive now

Bob Iger cause the biggest economic downturn in Disney history
Yes, obviously. Being a Disney fan sucks
Another great episode!
