easy enough to make.....use a small tie down strap (like for your truck) and whatever cord you like and order a buckle online and there ya go. Pretty cool belt would be nice if it was a bit stiffer too for ccw. great review.

I've been wearing this belt for the last 3 months, and it is fairly decent. The cord never frayed with my nylon letherman sheath on it the entire time, so thats a bonus. I recently switched to a 1.5 inch nylon belt with the 1.5inch D Ring cobra buckle instead of this, and while I was ordering the buckle I noticed that the model this belt in the video uses is their "fashion" model, ie: just for looks. not meant to hold much load. In the next couple weeks I plan to wrap my new 1.5" belt in 550 cord, and I already carry everything the mini survival kit inside this belt has included in a horizontal nylon case on my side.

I would like to see how well this holds up with gear attached to the belt, dose the paracord fray?

Pretty cool. I wish they'd use that paracord with the single strand inside it. It's rated at around 100 pounds, but I'm sure it's thinner and might feel better wrapped around the webbing for a belt. Oh and I'm pretty sure they mean 320 pounds of FORCE, not feet in their rating. Meaning 320 pounds of FORCE to break it, not 320 pounds per foot. I'm not even sure what that means, per foot, because foot pounds measures torque, not tensile strength. It means that the bolt or nut that you're turning is getting 320 pounds of torque applied to it from one foot out from the center of the nut or bolt. Inch pounds, means that you're inches out from the center, not a foot out. Keep up the great work.

For 80 bucks it seems like they could spring for some waterproof matches and a decent striker. One dunking and that unprotected striker is toast, even if the matches don't get ruined through the duct tape. If they're billing the thing as "survival" gear and charging a serious premium for it, I would expect the manufacturer to pay attention to the details that could mean your actual survival. Seriously, there's maybe $8-10 worth of materials there, tops.

always enjoy you vids and content but this belt doesn't seem like someone could actually use it for their edc. It doesn't look sturdy enough for a ccw and a mag

+Realcowboy Realcowboy It would be decent for CCW but not great - I agree.
