Hey bro really glad to see you stick with the e36 and keep working on it. I‘m plan to swap my gt86 from 1jz gte to 2jzge-t too. But I always afraid that the gap between get and gte will be huge. How do you feel about it(the get)? Btw how much horsepower does your get have now?❤
There’s almost no difference in the GE and GTE capability wise. The gte has a better flowing intake and head, so the power band has better potential. But you can make just as much peak horsepower on a non vvti GE block. Mine is probably making 400-450hp at 15psi. Dyno video coming soon
@@guoranbullshi if you use the non vvti GE bottom end, the rods and pistons are basically equivalent to the gte. So no, I’m using a non vvti GE block with a vvti GE head.
@@guoranbullshi and the oil pump is not as big of a deal as people say. For 500ish horsepower, GE pump is absolutely fine. If you’re going crazier than that, just port the GE pump
@@Teysik Thank you sharing this with me! Ever think about to use a racing ecu on your e36? Cause I saw you often stalled due to the stock ecu?MAF?idle motor or something? I know it’s feels so terrible when you pull the hand break and you have to keep compensate the gas pedal (I’m used to use the stock 1jz ecu😭)
That color scheme though🔥 I didn't like purple before but I do now!
Haha purple is the best!
Love your build, I’ve been watching since the start of the 2j swap. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks! I’ll be back at again soon

@@TeysikThanks a lot bro. Does your get using the gte pistons, rods and oil pump?
