Beautiful car , wished I had an uncle like that. My wife's father left her a 1972 jaguar E type when he died with 50,000 actual miles on it but her mother didn't want her to have it so she deemed the will null and void and let it sit there in the yard until the torsion bars rusted into and the oldest son sold it for 500.00 dollars. Her mother was always jealous of the fact that my wife was the favorite amongst the 6 children and she wanted everything to go to the eldest son and the youngest daughter. Her father had purchased the car for him and her to have lasting memories whereas her mother was greedy and jealous of her.
That guy definitely had the right last name ...Carr.
I recently came across a long abandoned garage on an allotment site, the doors hadn't been open for a considerable time judging by the small tree that had grown in front of the doors, there was a padlock which was more rust than metal and just fell apart.i could not see through the small porthole windows in the doors as they were thick with dust and spider webs. Using a small folding saw I removed the sapling level with the ground, pulled of the remains of the padlock and wrenched the door open and found fuck all.
Now that's a cool Uncle...........................
It really sucks that people (family) that didn't even help you earn the money to buy the stuff you have...come along when you pass away to sell your stuff and spend the money on themselves....sucks....that same family probably wasn't there for the guy when he was sick and ready to pass....
The only thing my uncle ever hoarded was an old Playboy magazine and a can of Campbell's mushroom soup.
I am so jealous. I have followed the Bugatti mark for half a century. I inherited a Passat auto saloon auto 1800. Probably the thirstiest slow car VW ever made.
I just subscribed to your channel, it would be nice to find out more of the story on this car. The lucky siblings sure had a nice Christmas! Regardless what day it was they took ownership of the vehicles. lol.
I don't understand. That car was built much more than a quarter of a century ago (25 years) unless it was a modern copy, in which case the sale price is wrong.
all it shows it how much it meant to the man and how little it meant to the people that sold it....very very sad....his treasure meant nothing to them....therefore he meant nothing to them

I believe it was found in Gosforth,Newcastle Upon Tyne.
It was about four miles from where I live where it was found I know there's a prototype Mercedes water cooled beetle in the area too.
Well i got a kick out of the writing where it said the car was more than a quarter century old.hell the car was closer to a century old
It's a Bugatti Atalante 57S, most of the cars shown in this video are not the same car and the music isn't suited to the story. If you want a proper video on the story then google - 1937 Bugatti Atalante 57S discovered in lock up. Far superior in all aspects.

That is a beautiful car as is. I had a matchbox toy car that looked like one of those cars. But mine was white. It was one of my favorite toy cars I had. I love cars and trucks very much. My favorite is the Jeeps. My next to favorite is the old Ford 1930's coupes they made. The 32-34 are the best. But I also love old pickup trucks as well. I like the 1960-61 Corvettes. Those are very nice too.
Great story line. But wanted to know more about the Other cars. To loud of much. You could read it so we don't have too. Thanks for the share

Why do so very many of these videos use unnecessarily extreme terms such as "insanely"?

I would have kept it, how often do you get to own an amazing car worth millions for nothing? Um? Peasants!
What did they find?
If I wanted to read, I would buy a book or look at a blog. At least get a voice over to read all this, and lose the overbearing music. Then maybe I might subscribe. No way now.
Some of us don't find reading intimidating and having the volume up can irritate those around us like a spouse not that you'd relate.

I'm inclined to agree with you, Jeff, and Catherien, some people just get on here to complain, maybe they don't have a good home life or the complainant is just miserable and wants some company. lol. He/she could just mute the music but probably can't or don't want to read.

Why they not have an audio voice over, or at least use large letters, instead of that bullshit of tiny letters, whereby you need a magnifying glass to read them, and even then, you are not allowed enough time to read all of the words. I stopped viewing the video after approximately one minute.
I enjoy your videos, but the narratives are truly hard to read.
