Dude, just going back and enjoying some of your older drafts from time to time, I really can't say enough about the hours and hours of edification and pleasure I've had here.
Maybe the only channel that actually explains in details, why you are doing what you are doing and walk us through the process of deckbuilding! Very clever plays with explanations behind them, I would love to be a patreon in the future, but first I will learn more about Magic, because I picked it up this week after I've been a consistent player in Yu-gi-oh, Shadowverse and HS, never tried Magic, but I'm glad I did now! You are a great person, keep up the great content! I love your Upgrading Deck content, that drove me into your channel. The only channel that does it in such details!
Agreed. Legend is an awesome streamer, one of the best out there, specially for Limited where most Streamers don’t even bother to read the card they picked.
That was one of the most impressing episode of cards, not only that you drew the collar you shuffeled back right before but that you had the exact combination of creatures that enabled to copy it with the exact right amount of mana that was like super awesome!!!
That was possibly the best draw ever. I laughed so hard. The hallelujah chorus was so appropriate. If you add more stuff like that hallelujah chorus in the background effect into the videos I would love it. Adds such a great and different effect! Keep up the great content.
I’ve been watching you for a few weeks now because you’re awesome at explaining your plays and drafts. And hearing your reaction at top decking that Collar made me very glad. (Because you usually sound indifferent) Awesome video!
As a new player who wants to get better, your channel has blessed me and your personality inspires me. I want to get better at the game, and you videos have taught me a lot. And thanks for not being obnoxious 😋
I really enjoy watching your draft videos. It's a great learning experience! Plus, it's great at proving me wrong/providing good insights when I "pick the draft" with you.
love the explanations you give for what cards you pick! I'm newer to drafting and it shows me what I should be thinking about. Especially how you explain why your easy picks are easy picks. Fantastic!
Oh man, I need more hours in the day. I would love to watch all your videos. I want so so very much for you to have more subscribers than you do currently. Your content is informative and very enjoyable to watch. I wish all the best in your endeavors.
Question: The random cards that you choose from the card pool between 0:05 - 23:20 are yours after finishing the draft? If they can be taken, are there any requirements e.g. win 3-4 wins to get uncommons from card pools or all wins to get all cards of all rarity?
2:02:30 if you really needed to kill the 4/5 flying, you could have done it by direct correnting that creature plus -3 Ral. This way, maybe, you could even try a bluff attack. If they block so you can finish it with Ral and still corrent the stalwart, I guess
Your draft was so good, and your explanations were super accurate :) If you would just suggest the best archetype to build for a ravnica draft, which would d it be?
Tjaard Pribbenow Yeah, and it’s the most efficient way to build your collection. You do sacrifice wildcard progression vs. buying packs, BUT you get to: A. Get more cards for your gems/golds B. Get a similar amount of Rares as packs (possibly more if you Rare draft) C. Get to choose the cards from a wider pool instead of just getting 8 random ones D. Have the possibility of making back some, all, or more than your entry fee if you play well. Plus if you enjoy the gameplay, you also get to have fun with decks/a meta that are quite different from the ladder meta and get more rewarding to play the better you get at drafting. If all you care about is getting WC’s to build a specific Standard meta deck, then maybe Draft isn’t the way to go. But otherwise, imo, it’s the best bang for your buck in MTGA.
Thanks for answering. I definitely enjoy draft more than regular games, so I am not Ethan happy to know that I even get to keep the cards. I just started playing mtga and I didn't wanna risk loosing out on good cards in case of a dead pack for my deck :)
Can some1 explain me this draft, which cards do you keep ,the ones u put in deck and sideboard ,or all of those that u opened ,15 cards from pack ? Thank you ^_^
10:55 "Since its not a card that most people want" If only we were drafting with actual people but bots seemingly pick at random with no sense of deckbuilding in mind.
LegenVD That’s when Direct Challenge will be added. They won’t have a friends list or more fully realized social features for a bit it would seem. It’s a nice option in the meantime though, even with how restrictive it is. Better than nothing :)
LegenVD For sure, I just wanted to clarify so they knew exactly what to expect. Sounds like while it won’t be too difficult to play with specific people, it’s definitely a bit more effort than a standard friends list. Thanks for the continually awesome content btw. Been following you since the start of Open Beta for MTGA, and you produce the best content for the game I’ve come across! Have learned a lot (I’m newer to Magic) from the way you describe/analyze draft pics, plays, etc. Absolutely love these BO3 runs, so much so that I’ve gone back and watched a lot of your MTGO videos as well. Keep it up :)
Finding -when I win- I get like one hours time on a clock, an lose like 9 hrs on a clock on that rank circle at the end.... AND They gotta add an auto resolve button for all the adjani decks....
Elias Redlich That’s correct, but the AI still base their picks off an algorithm designed to emulate a player. They’ll pick good cards and stick to a color combination, but it’s still not perfect since they don’t seem to be super great at analyzing synergies. It seems in this draft none of the bots went into Izzet, which is why it was so open and safe to continue building around.

That Collar the Culprit draw though xD
Audible clapping starts at 2:05:00 😀

I love this guy and the way he explains his moves and choices. Such a brilliant player.
‘Gotta play the crab first’. Absolutely worth watching until the end!!
I got to say you always have good explanations to make a better understanding for us. It's always a pleasure watching you.👍Keep up the good work LVD !
Do you believe in Magic?
who doesn't?
no, but i believe in legends
yes
Hey legenvd where are you from mate? Like where is that accent from?

"There is a chance they concede after we play the crab"
btw that last game was the most epic top-deck i've ever seen
"Alright, looks like opponent wants to play it out."
2:05:43 It was the heart of the cards. Yu-Gi-Oh!
Epic draw man. And that effect :D Really nice draft. It's a pleasure to see your content. Very instructive.
The almighty piece of CRAB draft!

"Who's ready for a Ral Ultimate?" Opponent submits "ah, come on..." Lol
When you picked up Collar I thought, no way that's going to be relevant.
Boy, was I wrong!

Really enjoy these older drafts! Your setup has definitely improved nowadays but you're just as fun to watch here as ya are now
Glad you like them!
1:24:32 "There is a chance he concedes when we play the crab.." Died laughing.
At 2:05 when you put your spell back in library, shuffle and draw it ... the allelujah music killed me. GJ!
the last collar draw was just insane, very nice draft man!
Has anyone told you that your voice is insanely soothing? Love these draft vids man ❤
I would be soooooo salty if I were the player losing to that Collar the Culprit draw! hahaha Well played, LegenVD, as always!
GENIUS MAN! Loved the games! You are a very good drafter
The old content still holds up. I hope some day you'll return to making draft videos more often again!❤
1:24:33 - gotta love it🦀
I've watched and re-watched your videos so often that when I watch someone else draft I often think that's not how LegenVD would do this...
I really like when you play izzet. It's my favorite guild because of how flexible it can be.
That collar was the one of the best things I’ve ever seen
you make it look so easy :) Just amazing mate
LOOOL! Best draw ever! With the halleluja i was laughing so hard! Hope i Will be able to see my outs like you do one day!!
So epic!!!! Crab won the whole thing!
Epic comeback!
helluva last game man, so good!
LAST GAME IS JUST BEYOND EPIC !!!!
Love that editing!
"Magic's easy, just draw what you want"
clutch ending, praise the crablord!
50:57 Should have cast Invent in response here, in case (unlikely but still possible) the opponent goes island into keeping up Disdainful Stroke.

Me on that pack two open: "OOPPHH!"
Crab is Love, Crab is Life
Your draft was so good, and your explanations were super accurate :)
If you would just suggest the best archetype to build for a ravnica draft, which would d it be?
I usually don't like recommending archetypes, as every draft is different and it is important to draft the deck that's open.
Do you get to keep the cards that you drafted for your collection ??
Yes!
Tjaard Pribbenow Yeah, and it’s the most efficient way to build your collection. You do sacrifice wildcard progression vs. buying packs, BUT you get to:

I just started playing mtga and I didn't wanna risk loosing out on good cards in case of a dead pack for my deck :)
At 28:55, would have been better to play the left hypothesizzle, since it had already been revealed by the Invert/Invent
mtga takes care of that automatically
@@aosuibd really? it will cast the revealed spell anyway?
Indeed, no need to keep track of which copy got revealed @@rutgervd
@@LegenVD Good to know, cheers!
The topdeckest top deck of all time

Only the cards you pick out of the packs.
2:05:38 I can't believe it. I'm dying of laughter here. MTG is ALL SKILL. Calculated. Get Rekt Noob. XD
The hallelujah at the end... lol
wow that last game
23:15 Yes it is
that draw is so lucky :D
haha nice last game xD
10:55 "Since its not a card that most people want" If only we were drafting with actual people but bots seemingly pick at random with no sense of deckbuilding in mind.
It still did wheel.
Are we really drafting with bots!? xO
@@MrLadou7 yes
Dang, I kinda miss drafting this set
Wow. Disrespecting the crab with the MVC?
25:15 the control player laugh
Does someone actually know, when friendlists will be available?
November 15th I believe
LegenVD That’s when Direct Challenge will be added. They won’t have a friends list or more fully realized social features for a bit it would seem. It’s a nice option in the meantime though, even with how restrictive it is. Better than nothing :)
Yeah my bad, it accomplishes most of what a friends list would do, so I assumed that's what they were asking @@darkblade_113

I thought that your just picking with the computer in MtG Arena ?
Elias Redlich That’s correct, but the AI still base their picks off an algorithm designed to emulate a player.
