Marcille herself has pretty significant issues with the whole _everyone I care for dies long before I ever will_ thing, too. They can bond over that.

People saying she's useless, but her s2 is one of the fastest afk skills, with marksman range and nice aspd, I would say she's a must have for afkknights
as an afkknight player, she's better than eyja when the enemy keep coming without a stop. one stage that come to mind is OD-EX 8 i which I hope become permanent stage because it will be funny. some stage in chapter 12 would also become easier with this

She is not. A niche, sure. Overall? No.
@@Muzakr_Halfdan afk isn't a niche, it's a easily applicable strategy nowadays for lazy doctors, at least in the normal content (and sometimes even in r18 cc). And if you don't want afk her s2 functions perfectly well in a normal team with little downside. Is she necessary? No. But then again it's a pve game and no 6* is a necessity to beat the basic stages and events. At the end of the day, it's all about playstyle and preference.

If she came out in the helish period that Ela came out, I might've some reservation. But thankfully, the recent CN banners are very skippable. In comparison on Global, we are in the middle of most hellish banner period in AK history, that started with Virtuosa and won't end until Ulpianus.

Tbh I don't care if she is good or not, I mostly pull only on limited banner, few standard banner made me pull on them (Degen, Ray, Mlynar, ecc..). Great video! I finally understand what does the S3 lol

@@galeria_mI skipped easly Degen and Ray to be able to get Shu, Narantuya, maybe Ascalon v: (now I sit on 240k orundun xD). Not everyones priority is to get W alter, ppl has their own preferences. If I needed I would pick Narantuya over W alter probably

You can micromanage s3 and use it as an on demand, large aoe stun with good damage. The helidrop aoe attack is useful against strong groups of enemies that start deployed on the stage, or if you need to spend your mana and redeploy. She's a pretty creative caster imo that is more than viable for players who want to play around her mechanics. I wish HG tuned her numbers a bit higher, but honestly she is not as bad as naysayers might suggest.
She has Ok damage considering she has AoE. Struggling against high RES just like every Arts damage dealer, except if they has RES Shred/Ignore.

Splash Caster really should have some RES ignore on default, at least on the initial target that they’re hitting.

Then what do you have in mind? Since I’m pretty sure this is pretty reasonable to add to the Splash Caster default Trait, anything too strong would be more of a Talent or Module upgrade for an individual Operator.
@@Zack_Zander Splash caster in itself is in an awkward position :
- overall bad stats (high DP cost, low ATK SPD, small range, etc.) even after the stats buff.
- Arts damage calculation (not specifically Splash caster problem).
- other OPs does the "AoE" job better (multi-targets have higher damage with more flexible attack "targeting").
- enemies reduced in number and grow in stats, making their trait less useful.
I don't care if she is the worst operator in the whole game, I will save for her and get her

Your daily reminder she never does anything of the sort in the narrative and her enemy iteration is literally just a slightly buffed Nova Caster reskin (also a pushover in the actual event battle, people only remember the mad buffed CC incarnations)

People expected so much from her mana mechanic, and she ended up very underwhelming for many people. But I don't care and I'm still gonna pull for her and use her because Dungeon Meshi is just the GOAT

Edit: also aside from helidrop guard (surtr) now we have helidrop caster, except that shes much better against a large group of enemies than her (ex the patriot force)

I wanted a "Mr.President" someone who is deployed, he spends time, finds nuclear codes, explodes entire map and auto retreats - can't be deployed again.. 1 week later Marcille is out. therefore she is Mrs.President now.
Tbh im find with her kit marcille is now my afk caster i mean dusk and mostima is already my pick for stalling or utility with dmg so her being different is already good enough for me after all at this day and age i have more variety on killing bosses to need another one like seriously my acc can kill bosses 3 times over thx to the amount of boss killers i have that now im mainly looking for utility ops now

Though if you need a caster with healing, you could consider Nightmare.
Why would you need a replacement for a healer, to start with? Are there not enough Medics and Healing Defenders in the game? There are even a few healing Supportes and another healing Caster already... Also, 2 healing Vanguards...
@@Kyokka Yes, but Marcille provides the highest healing per hit in the game, which is very useful for crushers or Surtr squad. Normal medics have a hard time keeping up with crushers' health pool and that distracts them from healing other operators. Though that's a niche the majority of players wont even consider, but it's there
@@billlee3851 I forgot to mention a new healing Guard btw) I still think there are too many options and I cannot imagine 6-star Medics to be struggling with healing (we should only compare her with 6-stars ofc bc she is a 6-star).
I mean ofc it's a limited banner so you gotta pull for her since they will never come back unless there's a rare case like R6S.

She's a collab operator, so it's a pull + buy the skin for me.
She can heal as a caster, which is a good enough reason to grab. Her S2 can also outperform Eyja S2 in a lot of situations.
Good to cover for a niche and good AFK skill.
Nightmare can also heal as a caster, yet noone plays her

Yeah she is just really good. Her S3 is like Eyja but burstier? Irdk but it seems to deal loads of damage and honestly a lot more consistent than Eyja's S3 because the boss cannot just run away from her, as Eyja has no CC. In a straight up M3 vs M3 match up I think Eyja still takes it but oh boy it is close! It is really really close! With Marcille having the option to stun mobs as well while Eyja is just straight up deals a ton of damage.
AFKnight players will be forced to pull as Marcille is pretty much the ONLY choice with her Unlimited Duration S2. She is like a ranged Thorns in a way completely crucial to your success against waves of enemies. I think Goldenglow's S2 is more useful tho because of the lingering effect BUT yeah Unlimited Duration + Stun + AOE is one hell of a combo that very few can contest. Goldenglow's S2 will deal more damage BUT have weaker AOE effect (seriously stun + AOE is an insane combo).
Outright 9/10 unit. 10/10 if they do not fix the mana battery exploit. Splash Casters are terrible BUT Marcille is sure in the run for the best Casters in the game, and tbh that is more than enough for you to decide she is weaker Eyja basically but has more AOE and a stun on top of it. Must pull.
She's useless but hey, collabs are fun and they are limited characters so why not

Aww man, so her S3 is around mid tier eh? That just means that even if HG had made Viviana a caster to cater to the baby complainers, she would still be mid since this is exactly what they wanted Viviana to do as a caster 😂
In fact, since her mini boss version only does one explosion and outside of CC it cannot even kill 1*s, I'd say she would be dead on arrival if they make boss Viviana a caster playable unit 😅

As a Dungeon Meshi fans , I will absolutely pull her
But I also understand those who skip her , because it's true that her kit is hard to use and underwhelming with only her S2 that is useable , not to mention her module upgrade is a complete waste . When I saw the news that she'll be Splash Caster , I was hoping that she's usable without maxed module unlike other splash caster , but hooooo boy they made her module upgrade an utter crap ........ compare it to R6 unit , you can really see who HG prioritize
She is a character for those who are fans of the original anime. For those who haven't watched and/or aren't fans, I think she's useless.
There are many other casters in the game that are much better than her (ahem...ahem...Logos) 😉
And a little bit of racism - she's an elf...so for me personally, the chances of wasting resources on her tend to zero.
