Bought this bike in semi-auto for my son. Perfect for him.
I sold my dirt bike last week so I'm abut about to take this sr125 out for a full day of trail riding in a couple days. I'm 6'1", hopefully it will manage on the intermediate trails I'm going to ride.
Great bikes for the money.. plenty of power and descent suspension..I have 2 2018 125tr's and only issue has been busted front tubes in front tires on both bikes..but good tubes for 10 bucks a piece an my sons were giving those things hell at Royal blue..really good bikes..

Ive watched a couple of your videos and you offer great content. Great microphone too. How do you do that? I’m really looking at the SSR125 for my son who doesn’t need true dirt bike like a kx 85 because he’s just riding trails and stuff. I don’t see many sold used. Do they hold value like a used Yamaha would?

420 chain 120 link but you have to cut it to size.

+Lumlums thanks man! And you probably need a needle nose pliers and a grinder to cut the link in the right spot. You can probably find a video on it.

They're fine, just takes proper maintenance, i have an ssr 150 and the only thing done was bolt tightening and oil change. Other than that it runs fine.

Our bikes are basically the same there the same models my bike turns off when it's idling like for example when I ride for a long time like for an hour straight when I stop the bike just turns off does that happen to you to? Thx
you might have to adjust the idle mine did the same thing when i first got it but only I bumped up the idle a little it ran a lot better
thats a cool video. I just bought a red 125cc. I have only ridden it twice but i will ride it more this weekend. it feels solid but suspension is soft. im 6'2 190lbs. the leg room is legit. it feels like im on a small bike but my knees have room. its deffinetly fast. have you had issues with the choke? when my choke is down it rattles up my bike has stalled.
i will mainly ride this in neiborhoods and dirt lots. and when i go camping.
Hey man I like your videos! Quick question, what do you use to record audio and video.. Do you record with a gopro and some kind of external mic then match them up in editing? I'm looking to do something similar but not too sure how to go about it

Idk where you live in AZ but in Apache Junction Is great so many back roads and off road trails

Put a lifan 150cc motor(direct replacement/ bolt on-off)in it, makes the ssr very reliable, and strong but come on it only a 150cc so it wont be unreal power but its a realiable motors
Other than motor, needs bigger tires and id do rims too make um a 12" wheel in the rear
Other than that lock tite for every single bolt you take off.( Im serious about the lock tite)
If you have a welder see if you can support the frame a lil more due to the power upgrade. I never did mine because my frame was totally stripped down bare and inspected. Shop said it looked good so i left the frame pretty much stock. Been hitting jumps and does very fine with me

130 link and I had to cut it you can buy 120 but im not sure if it fits i think it might but not 100% sure
I have a real bike, 2008 Honda crf 450r and it's a beast, but I'm thinking about getting one of these to cruise the neighborhood they look fun
I have a kfx 450r and a kx 125 but yeah these bikes are fun to dink around and the neighborhood would be fun they are loud though haha

So, here is my question, I have one (its actually a friends), what kind of mods should I so for first? I want to make it street legal so I can ride it to work and school (Both are about 10 miles apart) Also, have you figured out how many miles you can get off of one tank of gas? I know how often you need to change the oil and what kind of oil, but should you run the highest gas you can get?
well I would put an oil cooler on it if you are going to run it on the roads. also it is hard to say but you can probably ride maybe 3 or 3.5 hours on one tank.
Yo can you give me some advice? I'm new to dirt biking and I'm planning on getting the TaoTao DB14 on powersportsdistro.com for $560. Is this a good purchase or is there a better semiauto bike for around the same price range? I'm not racing btw, just for going around the neighborhood and grass!

they are very fun bikes easy to use cheap but you can get different versions though if you want a clutch get the manual version but like you asked they are good for learning how to use a clutch but before you get one look up on youtube how to ride a clutch pit bike
I have a 2016 SSR 125cc pit bike to its semi auto it backfires is that normal.
Mine does the same thing it is funny because the 2015s don't really backfire all to much.

These bikes are cheap because they are built cheap. If you buy one you should upgrade axles, shift linkage, and rear brake linkage to Honda brand components. They are made from higher quality metals and made much stronger. Adding heavier fork oil is the best way to firm up the front forks rather then using PVC tubing because you need to know how long of a piece you need for your weight and that could be a pain if you get it to long. It will be to stiff and bounce or throw you over the handle bars when you hit a bump or jump it. if it is to stiff you will need to pull your fork apart time and time again till you get it just right for your type of riding and your weight class.

+NoahKing that dosent make them that there concerned for safety and +YOUNG ANGLER I suggest making your own money to pay for it because a big factor in that is not paying for the motorcycle and not buying the parts so like make a deal with them where if you make half if they can pay the other half. I can say that my parents went to more of a yes because I showed responsibility and good luck. 😎

Some sort of motovlog name here my mom used to ride. but then she got shot in her leg and so did my dad, so they both used to ride. now they forgot. they both got shot on the same day and at the same time in the same leg, there fine tho and still alive. but when u get one for Christmas , I can ride with my aunt because she rides, and she taught my mom and dad how to ride before everything happened. :)

Jeffrey Johannsen don't buy ssrs trust me bro they are not good, get a ttr 125 or klx 110L, I had my ssrs for two years and they both just fell apart, and the frame broke into the engine case and now it leaks oil. and the second day I got them my orange ones chain popped of and broke into the stator case and broke the sensor, just don't buy them you'll end up putting more money into them then buying a name brand ttr or klx

Dunlop Mx52s or Mx53s for Intermediate terrain tracks IMO, but depends what kind of dirt is on your track. Anything grips better than the stock tires on these things though.

+Nevy 6 I'm 5' 6 but I have seen people who are 6foot ride it wouldn't go much taller than that. Seat hight is about a little over 2feet or so.
