Today is a celebration. We celebrate what God has done through you! Your love for God, His Word, and His work are evident by your generous gifts of time, talent, and treasure. I encourage you to continue. In Jesus’ most famous of sermons, the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gave us the most practical ways to live unencumbered and fruitful lives. God works through people to change the world. The real question becomes, How do we become those kind of people?

Freely you’ve received, freely you give. Jesus’ message to His apostles. After the veil was rent in twain God said He doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands anymore. Jesus said those that have left all will receive 100 fold. His preachers are to go out without scrip, without home, etc. Jesus said He had nowhere to lay His head. Peter said “money have I none” in Acts. The New Testament is very clear about the whole getting rich by means of church. That’s the one time Jesus got physically violent, turning over money changer tables. Making the House of God a den of theives. Other than these tithe sermons, I usually like listening to you and give thumbs up on those others. May God bless us all and give us wisdom.
