  • We have the opportunity to show love to those who need the expression of love the most-those who have been hurt by the hatred of others. In countries scarred by past and recent terrorism, Reload Love is arming other believers with hope and healing in the name of Jesus. Today we will examine one of the most famous sayings Jesus ever spoke and explore three components of real love-what we should do, and then how and why we should do it. My prayer is that God’s love would be “poured out in our hearts” (Romans 5:5).
This teaching is from our Individual Topical series with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

In John is says they will know you are my disciples if you love one another as I have loved you. How should we stand against organizations, like LGBTQ and people in high positions using their leadership to attack our children in schools, while still having correct attitudes???? I feel very angry, ready to fight and defend our children, all children!!! I feel we, the church, need to be Bold and Courageous speaking the truth about the sexual immorality in our world and its attack on our children! Am I wrong? I do not know how to feel this way while still trying to tell those lost in the LGBTQ that they are loved. Loving them in Christ is certainly not condoning, supporting, or being tolerant of their influence on our children and government or our freedoms.

I understand your concerns. I'm reminded of loving the person not the sin. It is a desperate situation. I also am reminded that we are commanded to love your enemy. However to protect young children from immorality is not wrong. I suppose it is in how we do this. Thank you for bringing up a relevant issue. If we do not act in anger but in concern and give it to the Lord, we can make an impression and still take care of our little ones.
