@@jessegilbert9568 From what I understand Di Giorgio couldn't go on tour due to his other band Sadus. So Carino went on the tour and the Lack of Comprehension video, but the album is Di Giorgio.
Listen to the remake of Over the Wall from Testament, if you have good headphones or a good stereo you can hear the incredible bass sound very well and you can tell he is playing fret less
Lenda viva... People have a commom sense that dead people are legendary... Chuck Schuldiner, Lennon, Kilmister, Dio. But there is a legendary who still alive. Steve Di Giorgio you are a legendary of Death Metal...
Damn. You have me there. That would be fucking crazy. I'm trying to think of someone else off the top of my head and I get nothing. Yeah, I could say Geddy Lee or Less Claypool, but they can't be compared to each other. John Myung on the other hand, is in a progressive metal band so he would be all I can think of.
Godly... Steve is in the upper echelon of bass playing. This song has some serious thunder behind it and still retains it's soul. Di Giorgio is beyond masterful on the fretless bass and manages to steal the show on this track without being overbearing. Genius.
I spent 10k on my custom 8 string bass with 4 band eq, active electronics, split coil switch, passive push pull, 0 fret string dampener for tapping, and 5 wood body neck thru but mine doesn’t sound like this Where do I buy this man’s fingers at?
I play bass, but I'm not into rock although I do listen to some of it,but this guy is the best rock bassist I've seen, really good finger style and he's not overplaying, now that's how you do it!!
Everyone is talking about Death! Check his work in Quo Vadis and Iced Earth!! Ha! Just realized he’s playing with Yanic Bercier, former Quo Vadis drummer!! More reason to check this band out! Quo Vadis was awesome!! Maudit je suis content d’avoir vue ce video
i seen him last year playing with testament in ft lauderdale.he was playing a customized 3 string bass i said wtf to myself never seen a 3 string bass before..but this guy killed it he puts many bass players to shame...but hes a humble guy also when u hear his interviews
It’s not really built like that it was a 5 string that he worked on even if you look at the headstock you can see 2 empty holes that tuning pegs would go in
That moment when the bass playthrough has more view than the official video, we love you steve you're a legend.
That's because this music is awful. Steve is too good for this shit. 99% of anyone listening to this band has got to be there just to hear Steve.
@@Astral_Wave damn somehow you managed to look like an idiot
@@Astral_WaveTerrible take
I will always praise the iconic bass lines of "human" and "individual thought patterns"
Om Sadasiva cosmic sea !!
Scott Carino played the bass on both of those, not Steve.
Jesse Gilbert what, no. It’s Digiorgio
@@nissenilsson9158 jesus....what are you a professional salesman? Fuck, dude, you're so convincing. Some stupid asshole told me I'm wrong...must be.
@@jessegilbert9568 From what I understand Di Giorgio couldn't go on tour due to his other band Sadus. So Carino went on the tour and the Lack of Comprehension video, but the album is Di Giorgio.

Best damn pizza ever
That's fucking awesome haha.
God damnit! I laughed way too hard at this!
lmao you son of a bitch.
Human is a masterpiece. Di Giorgio’s bass lines are one of a kind.
Di Giorgio, Forest Lapointe, Jeroen Thesseling and Linus Klausenitzer are my favorite bassists.
Listen to the remake of Over the Wall from Testament, if you have good headphones or a good stereo you can hear the incredible bass sound very well and you can tell he is playing fret less
Damn!! Steve is the master!!!
Get back to the kitchen, Sahil. :P
Loved the Dashavatar, man! Have you started working on new album?
haha thanks man, I've got some ideas but I am doing a solo EP right now with some incredible musicians :)

Steve harris
Not only is the playing first rate but Steve's intonation is totally on point...👍🤘
on fretless...damn!!!!
theshogos and it sounds hard and clear like on a normal one! His intonation is da bomb.
Hearing and seeing Steve's playing is so inspiring, a real music master!!!
Im amazed by the mere fact hes able to get that tone from a fretless. Nice playing as well
He just played the shit out of that beautiful bass!
it couldn't bass right for a week...
Lenda viva...
People have a commom sense that dead people are legendary... Chuck Schuldiner, Lennon, Kilmister, Dio. But there is a legendary who still alive. Steve Di Giorgio you are a legendary of Death Metal...
a fucking fretless bass dude, that's fucking insane, even if you are a pro, that is not easy, that is sick!!
No...it's not haha. It took me a year of nonstop woodshedding before I felt comfortable enough to play mine live.
Hands down one of the best bass players ive ever had the privelage of listening to his lines when he played with death/control denied are perfection
STEVE DI GIORGIO IS BEST BASS PLAYER IN THE WORLD OF METAL MUSIC.
either him or Forest!
Alex Webster is decent ........ but I think Steve is the man .
Ryan Martinie is better in my opinion
Best bassist ever.
Hard to beat human which is one of the the best best performances ever...
Douglas Rotondi Sadus Vision of Misery has some insane bass work on it.
I think his work on Individual Thought Patterns was even better than Human
He's a legend for sure. Although I think some of the younger generations surpassed him as the genre of Technical Death Metal evolved much further.
He has been surpassed by Forest.
Andrea Caravita if it wasnt for this Maestro, there wouldnt be your Forest Whitaker !
Saw him last month with Testament. Truly an amazing bassist.
Looks simple. I'll start play bass
dhamster100 LMAO!
Lol. Im sure its simple and you will play this after working 3 days lol
Lots of hours and great talent good job man
Get ur fortnite ass outta here
Not simple at all dumbfuck
Steve di Giorgio x John Myung... Aaaaah... It would be the bass fight of the century!!!!

A true master! That was incredible.

I see your point, not literally, but Steve is a badass!
Awesome! One of the greatest bass players in the world!

Lingua originale: Wow, pazzesco. Grande Steve!!!!
Translation: Wow, crazy. Great Steve!!!!
I love steve's playing so much, one of my biggest inspirations
this guy has been in every great band
What brand & guage strings do you use? My 7-string is a bit loose on the low end.
Godly... Steve is in the upper echelon of bass playing. This song has some serious thunder behind it and still retains it's soul. Di Giorgio is beyond masterful on the fretless bass and manages to steal the show on this track without being overbearing. Genius.
Amazing skills!!!!!
Amazing bass player!
Steve Di Giorgio is a beast on bass - absolute legend on his own...
Talent.... Creativeness.... Genius = Steve Di Giorgio!
He is the man. Love him 🤘🏻
One of my fave bass playthroughs. Good grief, he's on fire! Tone is killer.
Fckn awesome my lord!!!!
Its a shame that in the mix of the produced song bass is not more dominant. Di Giorgio made some great lines there. Enjoyed this video so much.
Best bassist ever.
It's not even a matter of opinion.
Steve rules.....glad to see him live
Di Giorgio is my new favourite bassist
Immaculate intonation.
Awesome performance!!!
Absolutely Incredible....
Mr Di Giorgio is simply incredible
El más grande de todos... gracias a él conocí el fretless, en los tiempos que tocaba en Death.

Check out John myung from dream theater. U will not regret it
I saw him with Sadus back in 1990 or 91 with Sepultura and Obituary at the Beacham Theater in Orlando..he blew my mind with his skills.
Best bassist in the world.
Is that a Warwick Vampyre six string BASS?!?!?! if not its still BadASS!!!
What an awesome bass player bad ass mo fo love it
thats some inspiration, jesus. someday i hope to be able to play that hard that consistently at that speed. awesome job di giorgio
how's called the bass he's playing? that's awesome. Steve is a Monster.
Steve Di Giorgio you are my hero
The best vision of the song is when it is a bass cover especially done like this ✅✅
Holy fuck... Fretless..6 string..bass.. Badass
Great sound !
I am going to build a bass because this is awesome!!!!
Your not even a month old yet
I've never bared witness to a finer rhythm section in my life.
OMG! AMAZING BASS PLAYER, EXTREMELY TECHNICAL
Omg, you don't have any markers on the fretboard and still playing clean. Awesome!
sérieusement je ne peux m’empêcher d'écouter cette vidéo, une pur jouissance auditive!
To me is one of the best in metal since the 80s, playing with Sadus. That’s amazing, as usual
Great bassist!
That tone is great
Impressionante performance!
Awesome skills
The sound is just amazing ! I just get fretless bass to play jazz, I think that I'll also use it for progressive metal
This guy is wicked rad.
Does anyone know how to get that fretless tone?
6 string fretless in this heavy music. No wonder he is considered one of if not the best. Bravo Steve!
Wait... that strings are almost dead or not??? The sound is so astonishing :00
I like your bass
Hi guys, does anyone knows what is this for a bass?
Real awesome bass player with real heavy bass tone. Perfect fit for Testament.
Everyone is talking about Death! Check his work in Quo Vadis and Iced Earth!!
Ha! Just realized he’s playing with Yanic Bercier, former Quo Vadis drummer!!
More reason to check this band out! Quo Vadis was awesome!!

Holy shit! I didn't even recognize him. Defiant Imagination is one of my favorite death metal albums, hands down.
Now this di Giorgio delivers!
This dude's bass videos are the sickest shit I have ever witnessed.
Brilliant!! I saw him playing with Testament in 2000
MrSchetina I saw him play with them in June!

What kind of pickups are those?
They sound amazing!
The six string fretless bass, kickin it Les Claypool style. Love it
What!!!!!??? Thats awesome love it
This is what happens when you
Hand over the bass to jesus😱
Oh Lord
Could you leave a link to where you got that bass?
Bored music with a excellent bass guitar. Steve rules!
anyone knows what strings is he using?
Badass on the bass
Amazing! Sandor Clegane playing bass!
What a genius!
Tough looking bass great player😎🤘
That's not Steve! Where is his bandana? Pretty good for an imposter, though.
Steve DiGiorgio, the Metal Bass God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do they tune fretless bass?
Thema cleanest intonation I ever could listen to on a fretless! Great!!
This reminds me Be' Lakor's "Countless Skies". Not the bass, but the song in general.
KILLER Steve!!!!
My dungeon master's younger brother, Aaron, used to jam like this on his fretless base
Awesome!!!
