    I completely agree with your review. This mat is amazing! I've been beating it up for the past four years and I don't see a single sign of wear and tear. Great video!

      Good to know that even after 4 years it is still great! I've now only had it for two months but I will say it is a treat to practice on!

      Hi! Great review! This mat is so lovely. How is the white holding up after 4 years? I’m scared that it’ll turn grey.

      @@ThisYogaLife-ak how about the stain issue? I just recently bought one but after three days I saw a visible stain from using a black and pink yoga clothes.

      @@ShowerKindness Did you buy one? My teacher has one, and it looks dirty. The lines have also started coming off.

    i loved this yoga mat when i first got it not even a year and a half ago. i had an XL one as i liked having space on it. Loved the comfort, grip, thickness and of course the look. i use it about 4 times a week in a hot yoga studio and after a few months i noticed the gold pattern started peeling of and it has this latex feel to it and if you pull it, it will just keep peeling off leaving a dingy beige yellow mark on the mat. Also, in time leaves stains and the white fades your mat dark from the leggings. the directions say to clean gently with a damp cloth and not clean it often. after i clean my mat i let it dry and put it back in the carrier and leave it in my car so i don't forget it. well it started getting mold spots where the gold is peeling off. i spent $200 dollars on my mat and now i have to throw it out because its disgusting. Debating if i want to give them another chance and get a different one that doesn't have stickers as a design.

    FYI - for around HALF the price, you can get a mat that's made from the same materials, has the same dimensions and thickness as the Liforme: The Plyopic Ultra Grip Pro Yoga Mat. And what's even better is Plyopic also do a Pro+ and a Lite version if you prefer a mat that's thicker or more portable 🙂

    Thank you so much for all your help. I have a mat but really feel that I could do with getting a better one. I had never imagined getting one with lines, but after your very clear explanation, I can now see the advantages.

    Dear Alexia K, i really like your review. I am using another brand of yoga mat right now, and thinking to buy a new one. I have questions, how about Liforme grip? I have sweaty palms, so i need to find yoga mat that have a very good grip. And another question is, is it hard to keep the mat clean? since its white.. Thank you anyway, Alexia..

    • @ThisYogaLife-ak
      @ThisYogaLife-ak  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Asha! Ok so the Liforme grip is great both with dry hands and with sweaty hands. However, as it is white I'm now noticing that it does stain. If you have sweaty palms you may prefer a rubber mat. The two I would recommend are the Jade Harmony and the BMat. However, keep in mind that the grip will be incredible, but unfortunately, they're not very long lasting.

    Very detailed review Alexia, thanks! I think that it is also worth mentioning that a yoga mat lasts for a lifetime; so some might be pricey, yet it is a good investment if you practice regularly ;-)

    • @ThisYogaLife-ak
      @ThisYogaLife-ak  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are so welcome! Do you have a Liforme? I wasn't aware of it lasting a lifetime as I know some people who had to replace it after a few years. Though you could say that a few years is more than quite a few mats out there!

    • @AngelosKonstantinidis
      @AngelosKonstantinidis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThisYogaLife-ak No, I don't have a Liforme. I take good care of my mat and I didn't feel the need to change it yet. From that perspective, I believe that buying an expensive yoga mat is not a poor choice ;-)

      @ashleysoulcycle 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AngelosKonstantinidis it is common for people who practice hot yoga often to have to replace their mats yearly, some even 6 months. I just had to replace mine after about 1.5 yrs of use, but if you break it down to price per use, it is still worth it to invest in a quality mat. They would probably last even longer if youre not doing hot classes. The sweat just breaks them down even with proper care.

    @Alexia K Yoga, Is there a good mat if you are already 4'9"?

    • @ThisYogaLife-ak
      @ThisYogaLife-ak  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Patricia! I really don't know if there is a good mat for 4'9"! I did a little research and it seems that tall people have a hard time finding yoga mats. And so I would think that all average sized mats can work for you. The Liforme is a good option and with time you'll learn how to make the most of the alignment patterns. Hope that helps!
