- Patiala is a city in southeastern Punjab, northwestern India. It is the fourth largest city in the state and is the administrative capital of Patiala district. Patiala is located around the Qila Mubarak (the 'Fortunate Castle') constructed by the Sidhu Jat chieftain Ala Singh, who founded the royal dynasty of Patiala State in 1763, and after whom the city is named.
Punjab is a state full of life, color and vibrance; and so is Patiala. It is highly famous for its traditional Patiala Shahi turban, the Paranda, the Patiala Salwar, the Punjabi Jutti, and the favorite of all, the Patiala Peg. Spending your time in this vibrant city is something you would never regret. Here are a few amazing things that you can cover in your trip to Patiala.

Very nice Vlog. I visited Patiala only once in 70/ s to get admission in MBBS but failed. The city looks clean and beautiful than other cities of our Punjab. Been in USA for 35 years, so I Miss everything My Punjab and India has to offer . Thanks for showing us your beautiful city again.

I wanted to see what Patiala looked like because I have a close friend who went there to do his master's at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and I must say that your vlog really stood out very much from the others. The background music in your video was so calm and relaxing and I actually expanded your bio to see if you have put the names of the music/songs I was surprised that you have put them all and also along with the music your voice was so sweet making me want to watch more of the video and with you showing the place I did not even realize that I watched the whole video and that the video ended. I am impressed by your vlog and I have to say Patiala is a beautiful place and I will definitely visit Patiala one day. This place has good history and culture and I like to see this but sadly where I live it does not have much to show... Thank you for making this video. Your video refreshed so many memories esp Tagore Theater, Polo Ground, NIS (It's truly unreal how crowded it gets there, I used to go NIS in 1992 for swimming coaching) and back then (in early 90s) that area used to be a ghost area of the city, Thank you again :)

Patiala Airport is a civil aerodrome.It is airport to small aircrafts like training aircrafts and for small aircrafts for VVIP flights. It is not available for regular flights because of its limited length strip.
