Still can't believe they never actually sang "She Means Nothing To Me" live. They sang their own parts separately on opposite sides of the Atlantic and it was put together in the studio but they never got to go on stage and sing it. Would have loved to hear a live version of that brilliant song. They worked so well together. Such a shame Phil was taken much too soon

1:53 Phil sounds so much better with Don.. their voices were so matched.. Cliff's voice dominates and is a bit rough by comparison with the everly bros... Sorry..
To be honest you couldn’t hear anyone singing apart from Cliff, this is an everly brothers song and he should have taken a back seat to the better singer.
They had been playing together since childhood and they actually just got sick of each other, they were two very different types of people ,they just needed to time apart for a while

I agree that Phil is the better singer, however I can hear him clearly.
A harmony vocal is obviously not meant to be as prominent as a lead vocal.
Good but it is a full step lower than the original.
Why did the everly brothers break up
They were head to head since they were very young kids and they were very different people. They fought a lot, and they needed a break (10 years!)

That was pretty good. But it is still not Don & Phill harmonizing. They were harmonizing. It was the best. Probably can't be reproduced.
