This is a sharp young man, the Nuggets are lucky to have him
Yepppp he’s smart, nice, and overwhelmingly talented on defense. If he reaches even half his potential on both ends he’s an all star. He needs to focus on trying to get DPOY, then try and slow down on his drives to the rim on offense.
Is he the guy from the commercials with Joker and the pony? If so, those spots are great.
He is lucky he ended up in Nuggets
@@vanessagrayman2194Yep he is...him and Jokić have same agent.😄
Agri, he talks nicely, great guy
Rakija spreading worldwide!

😂😂😂 Serbian style 😎
hahahaha
😂😂 you made me laugh out loud
Accurate brooms will be sold out In Denver
Smart guy...best defender ,good player and i like him and his personality
I like Watson he's very greatful for the position he's in.
Grateful
I'm proud of Watson. The dude has really made himself a force to be reckoned with, especially on defense. Go SWATSON!!
It's really cool to see the bond these guys have as a team too. Jokic is a really good dude, humble as hell. Never big brothers anyone but opposing players.
I think Jokic is giving them advices all the time, I believe he is trying to make them 'read' the games like he is doing and Watson is his best student.
@@nenadpopov3601 Idk about that, I'd argue AG has arguably blossomed in his role and his approach to the game. He's starting to see the floor at such a high level.
Love him !! Stay focused and grind for the best possible version of you !! Love from Serbia!!
I like this kid.He can be X factor for this playoff, like CB was last year.I hope Denver win it again and I hope that Nikola will play this summer for Serbia at Olympics
I totally agree.. but if Denver play final and win as we hope... honestly i don't know what will Jokić have for summer. Two years im row that much months playing... it's not a joke as many think it is.
Very well spoken for someone so young and new. He can probably get into media after.
Smart kid...
Yup. Great young man. Hope he grows into a stat with brat Jokic and the fellas.

Have a great playoffs p-wat and Go nuggets
Rakia conecting ppl❤
Watson became my second favorite Nuggets player in a very short time.
Why? Flexibility, athletism, passion, hunger. Bro throwing them blocks left and right for his dear life. It's a pleasure to watch him play. I really wish to see him as a starter. And here I hear a voice a maturing, focused individual both with ambitions and a healthy attitude.
Payton is thriving on attention, it brings best out of him
The kid is great, unless something unforeseen happens, he will be a big star in the NBA.
Really bright dude, well spoken. If you only hear the audio he sounds like a GM
I honestly couldn't see why Denver drafted him when he had zero tape in college. The scouts are amazing finding this type of talent.
It wasn't the scouts who found him, it was Nuggets GM Calvin Booth. He went to see him play & worked him out privately several times. He knew what he was getting when he drafted him. The lazy Denver sports media failed to do any research in order explain to the fans why Watson was chosen in the first round so they left the fans to question the move as foolish.
Watson was California's top ranked high school player & he was already predicted to be a first round pick when he was a HS junior. Watson knew when he went to UCLA that he would be drafted high & also that he would play very little for a UCLA team that was in the final four & had all 5 of its starters returning, but he wanted to stay close to home to continue to mentor his younger brother who was also a college prospect. He told UCLA's coaches he would stay only one year, which is why he rarely got to play since they knew he was going to leave anyway.
Watson hung out with Lebron James when he was in HS, which all by itself should go a long way to making it clear what his talent level was. James is not hanging out with random high school guys.
When Watson got to the Nuggets he was sent to the G-league & flat out destroyed it straight out of the gate. Even so, few fans in Denver paid any attention because the media was asleep on him. Most of the reports about Watson claimed he had no offensive game, which he immediately proved to be false. Had the media geeks bothered to do any research, they might have come across another UCLA guy who is an NBA all-star despite having very little in the way of college stats to justify his selection in the first round.
Jrue Holiday was also a LA area HS star who went to the Bruins & played only one year & put up very minimal stats. Like Watson, he made his mark starting with his defense.
@@user-zr4km5ns8t Bro how do you know all this???? I need to know!
@@user-zr4km5ns8tcool info, thanks
What a great young man this guy is. He definitely have a bright future ahead of him. Congratz Nuggets for a playoff spot and good luck. Go Nuggets!
I want him getting 25 minutes a game in this series. He 100% can help to slow Lebron and AD
He's very composed and mature for such a young man. So glad to have him in Denver.
Seems really focused and mature.
Now that's the kind of young man you want your daughter to bring home! Conveys a healthy attitude but still is enjoying the moment. Watching his maturity & athletic skills grow will be fun to watch.
😅😅😅
You go that far...but ok...i have daughter and agree on what you saying 😄

Always +9 past two games!!!
I adore this young man.
This kid is absolutely awesome! Future all star, no doubt!
I love this kid. Extremely intelligent, humble, and eloquent.
At the 5:55 mark, Peyton Watson talks about going over to Nikola Jokic's house.
Not saying he's as good but he could be like a young Kawhi. An athletic lockdown defender with a developing offensive game learning on a championship team from a humble superstar.
He definitely can be great. He already have solid mid-range and can make a 3p...now only playing and learning more is in front of him.He will never be kawhi, but can definitely be 15-20p player with great defense amd around 18-20mil contract player.

The last answer was so golden, he's next up and I couldn't be happier
Great young man, he definitely has a future in this league.🏀👏🏼
Attitude reflects leadership. Great kid. Reflects great leadership from a great organization. 👍
Love this kid! Him and CB are looking great!
He is one of the great young players for the Nuggets. I love watching him play and he will get his chance at DPOY.
Very well spoken and mature player. Glad he is on the Nuggets.
The intensity and shot blocking plays he bring to the playoffs will be huge. Just imagine Watson stuffing Lebron James or other Lakers left and right like he did the other night against the Timberwolves. Those type of plays are downright demoralizing for the opponents and a huge confidence/energy boost for the entire team.
Another impressive young player just like all the other guys Aaron, KCP, Jamal, MPJ all these guys. Good luck Nugs!
Two years ago the vast majority of the Nuggets fan base was totally down on picking Peyton Watson in the draft. They mocked this kid as a bust before they knew a single thing about him. I'm so glad to see him making the haters look like fools.
"the blocker"
Kudos Peyton! Best wishes.
P Swat! Love this dude, ladder up
I think any young player on this team should laser focus on the program and goals but keep in mind they are currently in the pinnacle of basketball perfection. Everything they accomplish and learn has a forward value. Just like they went to college for basketball, this is a masters class. They will get traded one day, but it will be with expectations that they have knowledge from their experience what winning should look like and how you go about building it. That's life. Never let a good opportunity go to waste
Go Nuggets!!!
PWat is a stand-up guy and is really well-spoken.
Wise beyond his years. He’s gonna go far.
Free throws and corner 3s are what we need offensively.Just have a defensive minded plan and the team goes b2b
great young man
Management was right about this guy when BB left. Everyone was worried when BB left because no one saw this special guy but the management. They are really a family!
this guy is good, he fits in with the nuggets and jokic vibe i think
Block monster
Rising star in the makin. #NUGGLIFE
Love pwat!!!
PDUB is da MAN! Defensive Tour De Force.

Nuggets are going to sweep the Lakers
That would be nice
As a pessimist I just can't help but feel scared whenever I see comments like this but I do want the same thing... What ifs just scare me.

He seems like a great kid. He'd fit right in with the ⚡
Very mature young man, it seems.
Rakija je kriva za sve…!
How people question Nuggets front office with choices like PWatt? Dudes drafted Jokic late in a draft to become mega-star, gambled on drafting MPJ which proved to be an absolute steal, they don't miss with their research and decisions.
Bro said I’m playing in front of my family ?? Oh it’s over

He look like master p
That chomping must've been so loud in his ear
Around the 2 minute mark, did he let something slip that may add to the conspiracy that sports are scripted.
I don't know who the old guy in the background is, but his gum chewing is very weird and off-putting.
Ya screen grabs are boring.
He sounds like Wiz Khalifa
Very good person and player❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤
He comes across as a well rounded, educated young man. We can see the maturity in responses. Compared to Lebut, who if it wasn't for basketball, Lebut would be a bus driver.
PWat go easy on old man LeFlop. 😂
