Great review! Booked cabin after watching. Love the big balcony, without premium balcony pricing.

We have just booked D702 after spotting that D701 to D710 are all priced as standard balcony cabins but have larger balconies no doubt due to being located near the lifts / stairs. Like most ships its worth doing your homework before booking.

Lift noise shouldn't cause any problems. These cabins are simply a hidden gem. Enjoy! 🛳

Thanks for this- very useful. We have booked D710 on Enchanted Princess for August this year (so same cabin position but to port side) and your video was very useful in confirming we made the right choice! Thank you! One question- how much storage is there under the bed- will it take a couple of normal suitcases out the way?

Hi Mark, thanks for the kind words...pleased it was of use for you. Yes there is plenty of room for a couple of suitcases under the bed 🙂

I've only cruised with Cunard so it's good to see other ships. I've got used to having a sofa in the cabin but if I could get a cheaper fare by not having one, I'd certainly do that. Your balcony looks great. How do you get on if you don't have a smart phone?

Hi Joan, having a smart phone will help with booking restaurant times and ordering drinks etc through the app but it's certainly not essential. So I wouldn't worry about that. What we would say though is that if you've only cruised with Cunard then you'll notice a far more relaxed atmsophere on board, esp regarding dress code on celebration nights, and the food won't be quite as good. However the entertainment is fantastic, the ship is also lovely and the staff are really friendly. If you haven't already, please consider subscribing to our channel as we'll be releasing videos on the cruise we've just come off which was around the mediterranean, where you'll get a better idea as to what life on board is like. Thanks Ian and Alison🙂

Thank you for your reply. I am a subscriber to your channel. I believe Princess Australia ships differ somewhat from those in the northern hemisphere from what I've read. Also cruises and flights are much more expensive here, unfortunately. I'm enjoying your cruises and information.

Firstly many thanks for the support, its very much appreciated 😊 Yes, as far as we know both Princess and P&O in the southern hemisphere offer a slightly different experience..mainly though due to the size of the ships, but cant confirm that as we've yet to travel to your lovely part ofbthe world...but its on our bucket list! 😀
