I really like this video with your explanations and zoom-ins and everything. This is one of my favourite board games. I can see that there are comments about rules and so on. I too would like to mention a few things. 34:15 The rebel player cannot deploy units to Malastare without it being a rebel system nor can the imperial player to Corellia ( 34:44 ) with sabotage. 2:07:18 I believe the imperial player cannot bring the units from Corellia. The mission card unlocks transport and adjacency restrictions, but not the leader, and there's Palpatine. 2:26:18 The rebel player cannot deploy units to Nal Hutta, because it's not a rebel system. 2:39:04 I think playing that card was a waste, because one cannot retreat without a leader. 2:46:07 You cannot use a leader without tactic values to activate a system. I really enjoyed watching this video. Sending my best regards and wishing you good health!

Sorry about the errors, but thank you very much for taking the time to let us know where we made mistakes, and for getting the timecodes spot on! I felt the tension and emotions watching this video. Congratulation to both of you for such a nice gameplay, edition, rules explanations, etc. Saludos desde Colombia.
Thanks Oscar. We're delighted that you got caught up in the video. Rebellion is definitely very tense, and as the Rebel player, I can tell you that you are scared all of the time! haha. Muchas gracias por el comentario. Saludos a todos en Colombia!
I was worried that Rebellion is too complex for me to learn, but after watching your plathrough, I know I can learn this and get it to the game night table. Thank you for making this video! I was shocked that the Rebel Base was in Nal Hutta😂! Also, it was epic when the Death Star was destroyed! What a terrific game--well played Pat & Glai!❤
Hi Chris! Rebellion is indeed pretty complex, but after playing it for a few rounds it starts to make sense. There are a lot of rules, so it is easy to make some mistakes, but for the most part it is pretty smooth. It's a super tense game, and it can be especially tough for the Rebels because they don't have much chance against the Empire in an open battle, but it is also very exciting especially when the Empire is close to the Rebel base. A few mistakes were pointed out to us, so please do keep an eye on those Klingon subtitles, but we had a lot of fun with this game. Hopefully, some day we'll get around to making a video with the expansion. Thanks for watching, and for commenting Chris! Much appreciated! Cheers!
Great play through, really enjoyed it! At 38:40 - Red direct hit was used as hit on Y-Wing, but black hit wasn't used - it could have been used on the X-wing. At 1:46:56 - Empire can't deploy on Hoth since it is a remote world. At 1:58:45 - Empire can't deploy on Dagobah or Tatooine since they are remote worlds.
Hi Chaz! We're really glad that you enjoyed the playthrough. Thanks a lot for letting us know about those errors. I have made notes in the Klingon subtitles. There is a lot going on in this game so it is easy to miss rules here and there, but it is great to hear that you enjoyed the video nonetheless. Cheers!
This video was an absolute blast. Not only helping me a lot understanding the complex rules of this game, but also learning a few tactic features of both the Rebels and the Impirium. Additionally the effort that was put in this production is mind blowing and I am very happy with that, because it hepled a lot to stay on top of things. Lastly it was extremly entertaining watching the both of you handling each new situation, every up and down of the game. It only shows how great this game is in creating unique scenarios and I cannot wait to finally play it this weekend for the first time with a good friend of mine who also is a huge Star Wars fan. You got yourself a new subscriber. Cheers!
Hello Phi! You have made us very happy with your really nice comment! Thank you so much for that. It's great to hear that we were able to help you to learn the rules and that you also managed to pick up a few tactics. Rebellion is a really great game and I think it is quite well balanced. It can be very tense, especially as the Rebels where you really have to pick your fights, and when the Imperials are close to your base, it's a lot of fun trying to lure them away in a different direction. Hope you have a lot of fun with it this weekend - do let us know how you get on. And thanks a lot for your subscription! Cheers!
Thank you very much for this great demonstration of the rules and the gameplay! It perfectly shows, beneath the rules, the dynamic of the game and with your calm but enthusiastic way of explaining, you made it even so interesting for my wife😊 that she wants to try it!
Hi Martin. Thank you very much - that was a very nice comment. We are very happy that our video helped you learn about Star Wars: Rebellion and it's great that your wife wants to give it a go! Do let us know how you get on when you get around to playing! Cheers!
Great video and great graphics. Very well presented. Not to be critical, but I think you made a major goof at 20:44. You blocked damage on your attack from damaged incurred on her previous attack and you did it using a card you drew on YOUR attack. That is why the rules tell you to first use dice to assign damage and then, at the end of the attack destroy or assign damage markers. (Page 5, steps 3, 4, and 5 of the rules reference). So both your Corvette and your X-Wing should have perished from her first attack. Also, for the record, I learned two rules that I was playing wrong! Thank you!
Hi Tom. Thanks a lot for your comment. Yes, we knew about the mistakes in combat. There are notes on the Klingon subtitles because they were discovered after the release of the video. Thanks for taking the time to let us know, and really glad you liked the video. It's great to hear that you were able to learn some rules you were getting wrong too! There are a lot of rules in this game and it's easy to miss a couple here or there. Happy New Year to you!!
@@A0elixProfile It is a long video so we're delighted to hear that you got through it all. It's great that you enjoyed it. Thanks a lot for your comment to let us know!
Wow - you guys did great! I love how you just enjoy playing!! I did want to say - and don’t know if anyone caught it, but at 1:01, General Tarken cannot do trade negotiations because he did not have the required ability to attempt the mission.
Hi Cody. Thanks a lot for your comment. It's really great to hear that you liked our video. Thanks also for pointing out the error. Actually, we have a note about it in the Klingon subtitles. General Tarken has 1 diplomacy icon but he needed to have 2 to do the Trade Negotiations. Thanks a lot for watching! Cheers!
You guys are adorable! Thank you for the great video, much better than just reading the rules. I've not watched the whole video yet but one note so far... At 21:32 you play a block card out of sequence. You cannot play a block tactic card at this stage as your opportunity to block was during the empire's attack, after they have assigned damage. Once you have started your attack round your opportunity to block is over. The rules state your units are destroyed at the end of the opponents attack phase and should be placed on the faction sheet. They can only be used to contribute to your attack round from this position. Edit: after watching more, I noticed you seem to be playing combat slightly wrong, in such a way that you're allowing the defender to play block cards during his attack phase. It seems to be due to the way you are using damage markers incorrectly to allocate hits to units (you are supposed to use the dice and any cards which allocate damage) and only use damage markers when a unit takes damage lower than its health during a combat round. Importantly the units are removed from the play area and placed on the faction card at the end of the attack to indicate that they will be destroyed at the end of the round. The damage attributed to them cannot be blocked beyond this point. 😁 Happy gaming!
Hi Ben. Thank you very much for your comment, and for letting us know about that rule error. We did not realise that, but you are absolutely correct, and I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles for anyone learning the game. We're really delighted that you enjoyed the video. At some stage, we hope to make another Star Wars Rebellion video with the Rise of the Empire expansion which it seems really adds a lot to the game. We'll be very careful of this rule next time! Cheers!
@@bencollins863 It will be a while before we manage to get to it, but hopefully early in the new year we will manage it. I believe the expansion makes things much more cinematic, especially the combat so really looking forward to playing it!
This is great. I've bought the game, it's 2AM, i've got it set up, i've read all of the content. This video is perfect for my next step. Game night with my best bro.... I especially like how you guys to do card zoom on the video. Anyway...this video is good...her hair is amazing...the directing of the video works.. Thanks, it was very helpfful
Thanks a lot Jamin, and we are really delighted to hear that you enjoyed our video. We tried to make it clear to follow because we know that it can be difficult to learn a game like this that has so many rules, but we wanted to show that once you get started, it becomes quite intuitive and hopefully that will make it easy to learn. We would love to hear how you get on when you play it with your best bro!
@@AllAboardBoardgames Well that's such a nice response! I'm still only half through this video (it became 5AM, had to sleep). I'm picking it back up tonight, 1 on 1 with myself to learn it. I'll probably have this answer by the end of tonight but the only question I have right now is: We each declare missions and the command phase starts. Do we then just play out each mission until we're each done and can go no further? If Empire has 1 mission and Rebel has 3....can Rebel keep going after Empire is exhausted missions? Is there a limit to how many declared missions or moves before refresh phase? Game night is tomorrow night...we gonna play this first time! This video will definitely help keep our first game moving forward. Thanks again.
and actually now that I'm thinking about this: any action you take on a system, you have to place a leader in the system.. So, I have 3 leaders on mission and one in the pool. That means I can do one movement and up to three missions. Is that correct?
Thanks SIrbrastias! I thought you might like this one because I know you are a fan of wargames. I think you may even have recommended that we play this one at one stage. What games are you playing yourself these days?
@@AllAboardBoardgames Among non-wargames I play "Nemesis", which I found to be a game that suited me perfectly and is now my highest rated non-wargame. I strongly recommend it.
@@AllAboardBoardgames Dammit! I did it again, didn't I. I watched your video, then apparently forgot. Well, let's imagine I said "Nemesis: Lockdown" then. That game is equally great.
@@SIrbrastias That's the old age kicking in! haha... But seeing as I have the same issue, I forgot that you didn't say "Nemesis: Lockdown" so that is now what you said! Is Lockdown much different to the original?
Great video, the best lets play by Rebellions I've seen so far. Great camera settings and card overlay. You are super authentic and likeable. I'm looking forward to a lets play with the expansion which I think turns a great game into an amazing great game. Keep it up! You have a new subscriber for sure.
Thanks Brown Jenkin. That is very kind of you to say. We are really happy that you enjoyed the video and very much appreciate your subscription. We will get around to doing a video with the expansion soon so please keep an eye out for that! Cheers!
Great Playthrough and excellent production. At 24:17 you played Dig in tactic card without discarding another ground tactic card. You have to discard another card beside dig in to use its effect.
Thank you Zak Ess. Glad that you liked the video. When I played the Dig In card, I did actually discard a ground tactic card, but as the camera was on the board at the time it was not shown. My leader had given me 2 ground tactic cards and the light saber result on the die gave me another but there was only one of these 3 cards that was useful to me at the time (Dig In). We appreciate your comment! Cheers!
One of the best Rebellion play through videos I have seen. Great camera work and editing! Any chance you all could do a play through with the expansion? I'll definitely will check out your other videos!
Hello! We are delighted to hear that you liked our video, and please do check out some of our other videos. Hopefully you will find some in there that you like. We do intend on doing a playthrough with the expansion but it will be a while yet before we get to it. Thanks a lot for your comment!
way ahead of you man lol .... just set up and read the whole thing....watching this as i'm looking over the content. gonna make our first go a breeze.... plenty of whiskey involved :)
35:44, Rebels are moving units from Malastare to Rodia. 3 land units are being moved, but can only transport 2 units, since the Corellian Corvette is the only ship,. that can transport units, and that has a capacity of only 2 units. :)
Hello! Thank you for that. You are absolutely correct, and very well spotted. I have made a note about the error in the Klingon subtitles. Hope you enjoyed the video!
Hello Tingkaer85! It's great to hear you liked our video. We do intend on doing a video with the expansion at some stage so please keep an eye out for that! Cheers!
2:18:30 as stated in the rapid mobilization card, you can only resolve it at the end of command phase, wich means that the empire player can use any available leaders to assault the base or play missions agaist it. Otherwise, the game gets down to "you cath me, i flee" until ran out of probe cards
Really glad you liked it! We are planning on doing a Rise of the Empire video at some stage so please do keep an eye out for that. :-) Thanks a lot for your comment.
27:36 It's also worth pointing out that the leader does not have to have matching skill icons to oppose the mission. The player attempting the mission would still need to roll 1 success to complete the mission.
@@AllAboardBoardgames Can wait for that playthrough. Loved your video...here are some more feedbacks on this video: 1:25:48 Tie fighters cannot move on their own. 1:35:35 and 1:37:12 Same as previous comment I made, she had to roll since you had leader there (but I guess she would have gotten that 1 hit) 2:24:43 She got the trooper and again in 2:25:12 so she got more than she should have Also order of troop deployment is crucial for making strategic decision, namely it's "Rebel first" for pretty much everything in the game; the only exception is during setup, where the Empire places all their starting units before the Rebels do their setup.
@@veljkoagatonovic4929 Thanks a lot Veljko! First of all, we're really happy to hear you liked the video. We will get around to doing a playthrough with the expansion at some stage. This is a big game so as you can imagine it takes quite a bit of time to film and edit, but we will get to it when we can. Also, thank you very much for taking the time to point out those errors. I have made notes of them in the Klingon subtitles, so hopefully they will be able to help people who are learning the game. Much appreciated!
It did get pretty tight! As the Rebel player, it can be quite stressful because you are always overwhelmed by the vast number of troops the Imperials have and it is not easy at all to stay hidden!
Hi C Seb! It's really lovely to hear that you enjoyed our playthrough. A video with the expansion is on the list. It will take a bit of time but we will work on it and get it out as soon as we can so please keep an eye out for that. Thanks a lot for your comment!
Apologies if this is in the video but my Klingon Captions don't seem to indicate it. At 1:12:31 , Obi Wan would have resisted on his own without rolling any dice requiring the Imperial player to roll a success.
@@themettaworldpea8965 At some point, we will make a video with the Rise of the Empire expansion, but it will be a bit of time before we can do that. Thank you for your kind compliment! :-)
Wow you guys have great editing for this video. Coming in not know how to play the game at all, your video helped a lot! I like this game but I think its 3 hour playtime might be a little too long.
Hi Eleven! Really glad that you liked the video. It's good to hear also that it helped you decided if the game was right for you or not. It certainly is very long, though when you get into it, it feels shorter! Thank you for your comment.
Around 2:15:00 when the Rebel base was discovered, why did it immediately turn to Empire control? Even though he evacuated, wouldn't you have to land a ground force first and subjugate? Then bring in a diplomat to change Loyalty from Subjugated to Empire control?
Hi Stephen. At 2:17:09 Glai plays Fear Will Keep Them In Line which gains loyalty in 2 systems in the region, so that is why it immediately went under Imperial control. Cheers!
Great video! 41:49 it looks like your black direct hit disappears, you were set to do 3 damage to the ATST. In the space battle previous an additional damage was missed on the Star Destroyer
Hi Steven. Thanks a lot for your comment. We're really glad to hear you enjoyed the video. The AT-ST takes red damage, so when it was attacked, it got the direct hit from the red die and a second hit from the Critical Hit card. However, that was all blocked when Glai played her Dig In card so no damage was taken. You are absolutely correct about the extra damage that should have been given to the Star Destroyer. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles. Thank you for letting us know!
At 1:26:00, when all the Empire ground forces were moved from Mandalore to Mygeeto, wouldn't the Empire have lost control of Mandalore since there weren't any forces there anymore?
Hi Stephen. No, in the case the Mandalore system is loyal to the Empire so they do not lose control. If it was a case that the system was only Subjugated, then they would have lost control but in this case they do not need to keep troops there.
Thank you schickaneder. Really glad you enjoyed the playthrough. The two dice were rerolled because Glai played a tactic card. Very sorry that we missed popping that one up. We should have made it more clear!
Oh good spot! Thanks for letting us know. Yeah, it would have been a good idea to mark Obi Wan when he was detained. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles.
Wow! We did not realise that, and thank you for letting us know. In this case I think it would have been ok because the Imperials would still not have been able to make it to Nal Hutta but certainly in other games we have played this could have made a big difference. I have put a note in the Klingon subtitles about it.
Hi there. During your turn in the Command Phase you can either Activate a System by placing a leader there and moving units, possibly triggering combat (attacking a system) OR you can Reveal a Mission. You cannot do both on the same turn. Hope this helps!
1:09:36 te action card says take this leader from your leader pool and put it in the system, but the leader was already in the system, I think you cant use the card like that, because the leaders wasnt in the leader pool.
Hi David. Thanks a lot for letting us know about that. I believe that you are correct! I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles. Hope you enjoyed the playthrough!
@@AllAboardBoardgames nice, I didnt see what you meant at the start, now i see you pointed it out in the video with text, I havent seen the full video I still, I will when i have time, I will point you something else out if I see, very nice work, its speacialy nice that we can read the wards from your game so cleanly
@@davidmunar8453 Thank you David. It's really good to hear that you are enjoying the video! We post corrections that we discover after the release of the video in the subtitles in the Klingon language so watchers who are learning the game can get a more accurate overview of the rules. Thanks a lot for your comment!
Just to ask quickly, you explained how the rebels win, but how does the imperium player win since you didn't explain their win condition in the overview section of the guide? Would they win if they find the rebel home base and destroy it?
Sorry Daniel, did we not mention that? Thanks for pointing that out. The Imperials win if they find and destroy the Rebel Base. That means that there can be no Rebel units left in the system and the Imperials have to have at least one ground troop there, or have destroyed the planet with the Death Star.
25:50 x wing, b wing, tie fighters, air sppeder cant fly like that! They need to be carried by the corvet or another ship… GG on destroying the Death Star 🫶
Hello rocksted. In this turn, the Corellian Corvette was used to transport the Airspeeder and the Rebel Trooper. The X-wing and Y-wing can fly on their own without the need for a transport. Tie Fighters are treated like ground units for movement, and they do need a transport. Thank you for the comment! :-)
At 2:18:32 you resolve the mission "Rapid Mobilization" and putting the assigned leader on the "Rebel Base" space. But shouldn't you have put the leader on the system where the Rebel Base is located (Nal Hutta in this case) since the Rebel Base was already revealed
Aren’t you supposed to reveal base only if imperials bring ground troops? Also your hand of ten cards, does that contain both your mission and objective cards?
Hi Austin. The Rebel player may optionally reveal his base at any time during one of his turns of the Command Phase. Also, the Rebel player can have any number of objective cards in his hand. Objective cards do not count toward the Rebel player’s mission card hand limit. Project cards are missions and count toward this limit. Hope this helps! :-)
They do recommend this in the rule book but you can decide whether you want to play with the text or not. There are a lot of rules to remember and you may not understand exactly what the benefits of the leaders are until you have at least one game under your belt.
@@AllAboardBoardgamesI’ve read the rules and reference booklet. Is there any reference to adjacency? But I thought coruscant and Cato are not adjacent
@@tothepanels Coruscant and Cato Neimoidia are not adjacent as there are systems between them. Adjacent systems are systems that are only separated by a single line, for example, Coruscant and Corellia or Rodia and Malastare. If there is a two-line buffer, then the systems are NOT adjacent, like Utapau and Mustafar or Corellia and Endor.
If I'm ever able to find someone playing one game of Rebellion without breaking any rules xD It's difficult to think about them all all the time... but I found like 8 rule breaks in the first hour^^ (not counting the ones you already clarified)
Hello Orländo Mändo and thank you for your comment. We certainly got some of the rules of the game wrong. Actually, we do have notes about them in the Klingon subtitles. Any mistakes we come across after the video has been released go in there because of course once it is uploaded we can no longer edit the footage. If there are any mistakes that you spot that we have not put in there, we'd really appreciate if you could let us know with time codes so that other people watching the video can learn the rules properly. Hope you enjoyed the video!
Thanks for the video, it's a great, informative, way to introduce players to the game! At 55:20 I think there's a minor error - Glai says that Pat "can't retreat" from Malastare but Pat can still retreat to an adjacent neutral system in the event that he doesn't have an adjacent loyal system / system with his units (otherwise he'd be forced to retreat there instead). It looks like there were 3 systems he could have retreated to at the time.
Hi Julian. Thank you for the comment. We are delighted that you enjoyed the video. The reason why I (Pat) could not retreat from Malastare was because I only had ground troops there and no way to transport them out of the system. We wish you a very Happy New Year! Cheers!
Thanks for the very educational video. However I think you got some deployments wrong. You cant deploy where the enemy has units and only in loyal and subjugated systems. So midgame there was a Rebel deployment on cato naimoidia, but there were imperial ground units. One turn later or so the Imperial player deployed units on hoth, but you can only do that in unpopulated systems with the shieldgenerator from the expansion. I dont think that it mattered at the end, but thats the only things that werent quite correct in an otherwise flawless video.
That is very kind of you Jamin. We are currently in the process of setting up our Patreon account but it will take a couple of weeks for that. Hi Murkanaator. No, you do not have to roll if there are no enemies to oppose your mission. However, a mistake that we made was that the enemy can assign a leader even if they do not have the relevant icon. In this case the enemy would not get to roll, but the attacker would have to roll at least 1 success.

34:15 The rebel player cannot deploy units to Malastare without it being a rebel system nor can the imperial player to Corellia ( 34:44 ) with sabotage.

2:26:18 The rebel player cannot deploy units to Nal Hutta, because it's not a rebel system.
2:39:04 I think playing that card was a waste, because one cannot retreat without a leader.

Cheers!
This was a lot of fun to watch. Great game and great play through. I really appreciated your after game analysis also. Great job!
Thanks a lot for watching and for your kind comment. Really glad that you liked our video!! :)

Cheers!
I just played and learned this game last week and it was a very close race for us too. Great game
Nice one AxéTério! The game is very well balanced and it often goes down to the wire!
Happy gaming!
Cheers!

So as many leaders in my pool is the amount of moves I can make? whether they be movement/attack or missions?
Super helpful 👌🙏
Really glad to hear it!

Hi Rayback. Yes, you are correct about that. We actually have a note about it in the Klingon subtitles. Hope you enjoyed the video! Cheers!

27:36 It's also worth pointing out that the leader does not have to have matching skill icons to oppose the mission. The player attempting the mission would still need to roll 1 success to complete the mission.
Wow! You are absolutely correct Veljko. We did not realise that rule so thank you for letting us know!
@@AllAboardBoardgames You are welcome. I can also recommend the expansion. It improves combat so much.
@@veljkoagatonovic4929 Actually, we did buy the expansion, though we haven't had a chance to play it yet. Really looking forward to that!
@@AllAboardBoardgames Can wait for that playthrough. Loved your video...here are some more feedbacks on this video:
1:25:48 Tie fighters cannot move on their own.
1:35:35 and 1:37:12 Same as previous comment I made, she had to roll since you had leader there (but I guess she would have gotten that 1 hit)
2:24:43 She got the trooper and again in 2:25:12 so she got more than she should have
Also order of troop deployment is crucial for making strategic decision, namely it's "Rebel first" for pretty much everything in the game; the only exception is during setup, where the Empire places all their starting units before the Rebels do their setup.
@@veljkoagatonovic4929 Thanks a lot Veljko! First of all, we're really happy to hear you liked the video. We will get around to doing a playthrough with the expansion at some stage. What fun, a great ending, I thought the Rebel cause was lost. Incredibly well done
It did get pretty tight! As the Rebel player, it can be quite stressful because you are always overwhelmed by the vast number of troops the Imperials have and it is not easy at all to stay hidden!

Thanks Xintrosi! Glad you enjoyed it. It was indeed very close there!
Apologies if this is in the video but my Klingon Captions don't seem to indicate it. At 1:12:31 , Obi Wan would have resisted on his own without rolling any dice requiring the Imperial player to roll a success.
Hello Steven. You are absolutely correct. Thanks a lot for letting us know. I have now made a note in the Klingon subtitles.
The imperial player did not need to roll a success, because it was Tagge's mission with 2 automatic successes.

If it was a case that the system was only Subjugated, then they would have lost control but in this case they do not need to keep troops there.
can you guys do one for Star Wars Rise of the empire? Since the combat is slightly altered.
Yes, we will certainly be making a video with the expansion. It takes a bit of time as it is a big game but please keep an eye out for that one!

Thank you schickaneder. Really glad you enjoyed the playthrough. The two dice were rerolled because Glai played a tactic card. Very sorry that we missed popping that one up. We should have made it more clear!
1:20:20 I think it would have been best to put a marker under Obiwan - that way you wouldn't forget that he was detained during the refresh phase!
Oh good spot! Thanks for letting us know. Yeah, it would have been a good idea to mark Obi Wan when he was detained. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles.
Rapid Mobilization doesn't kick in until the end of the entire command phase.
Wow! We did not realise that, and thank you for letting us know. In this case I think it would have been ok because the Imperials would still not have been able to make it to Nal Hutta but certainly in other games we have played this could have made a big difference. I have put a note in the Klingon subtitles about it.
So you can attack a system and do mission cards in the same turn? The rules confused me and couldn’t find an answer on the internet.

The move at 1:26 was illegal because tthe tie fighters need to be loaded into a carrier as well right?
Hello Gerb. That is correct. There is a note about it in the Klingon subtitles. Thanks a lot for watching. Hope you enjoyed the video.
Hello Phi! You are absolutely correct about this. Thanks a lot for letting us know. I have placed a note in the Klingon subtitles.
@@AllAboardBoardgamesand for first game they recommend to not follow the text on recruitment cards for leaders?

It's difficult to think about them all all the time... but I found like 8 rule breaks in the first hour^^ (not counting the ones you already clarified)
Hello Orländo Mändo and thank you for your comment. We certainly got some of the rules of the game wrong. Actually, we do have notes about them in the Klingon subtitles.

Dont you still have to roll an attempt Even If there is no one from the enemy side to oppose?
Edit: Regarding Mission assignments
Hi Murkanaator. No, you do not have to roll if there are no enemies to oppose your mission. However, a mistake that we made was that the enemy can assign a leader even if they do not have the relevant icon. In this case the enemy would not get to roll, but the attacker would have to roll at least 1 success.

Bue Lau, you are absolutely correct. Grand Moff Tarkin should not be allowed to play this card because he needs 1 more diplomacy. Well spotted - I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles.
Glad you enjoyed the playthrough. Hope it can help you figure out the game!
Bruh on my first game my upgraded luke got stolen by the sith and then i got shit on
It's not an easy game at all. But with a few plays and a bit of experience it is a bit easier to avoid traps like that!
The old tactic cards make combat such a slog and overly complicated. The expansion is so critical for combat.
Yeah, I have heard that the expansion has improved the combat system greatly. Haven't had a chance to play with the expansion yet but hoping to get a game of it soon!
@@AllAboardBoardgames highly recommend! Thanks for the gameplay video and enjoyed the end game explanations!
@@specimendaze Thanks a lot for watching and taking the time to comment! Much appreciated!
Bobba Fett is not a Mandalorian :P
Oops! Yes, you are absolutely correct! Sorry about that...
@@AllAboardBoardgames there's always one in every bunch
Bobba maybe is, but Boba isn‘t… ;)
