    For steaming your clothes, putting that little cloth piece or just a clean washcloth over the flat steamer attachment will keep it from spitting water spots onto your clothes (and help disribute the steam a bit more evenly). Great real review to see this thing in action. Thanks a bunch!

    You said you were expecting a miracle worker...I think the adage "you get what you pay for" is applicable here. Your conclusion was correct, those small, hand held light weight steamers are great for select small jobs. Harder jobs like whitening a mattress or taking caked on crud off baseboards or deep cleaning grout needs something larger that has more pressure and hotter steam.

    With the mattress, try wrapping the nozzle in a microfiber. The steam loosens the dirt and stains, the microfiber is what actaully pulls them out of the mattress.

      I've tried doing it exactly like you say, It improves the cleaning a bit, but I'd say my observations align well with the video - steam cleaner doesn't do a great job on mattresses. For this task the best tools are the extractors, professional grade tools, which cost that much, that you'd be probably better buying a new mattress and just replace it, instead of cleaning it.

    What’s a steam cleaner supposed to do for scratched paint, dented wood, brightening a mattress, or the over glass? Would you rather scrub all that shit? 😂 You’ve got to understand what the item is actually meant to do first, then have realistic expectations of it. I have been through many steamers and from my experience DO NOT use it on windows that are sealed with gas between the panes. The heat and pressure at the window edges will "melt" and break the seal rendering your window unsealed and condensation will build up inside them. About the toilet- two things...the pressure that is forced out of the nozzle blows stuff it comes in contact with. You could be blowing toilet stuff around. Second, remember that the toilet is holding COLD water and that steam is above boiling. The two temperatures could crack the porcelain.

    what about electronics.. to remove dust? as long as you dont over steam it and its turned off.

    • @megatuanis
      @megatuanis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It won't remove dust from electronics. It will just make tiny amounts of mud because it's water vapor which, when it cools down, returns to its liquid state. Not to mention how that moisture will damage electronic components inside the device you're trying to clean.

    I just spent $200 on McColloch Canister and it sucks. Wth are they supposed to clean? Because everything I've tried to clean looks exactly the same. I'll stick with my harsh chemicals.

      The steam is hot enough to kill germs on anything you need to disinfect

    I bought one and the water doesn’t get hot on mine so it can’t disinfect and it couldn’t get my gunk on my walls loose. 😩

    A cheap steam cleaner is not going to help you much. There’s not enough power imo. Also your title suggests you will compare different cleaners.

    Gross! I would've never touched the toilet with the attachment. Or even used it near the toilet, yuk.
    However, THANK YOU for a very good, concise and informative video! 👍I learned about other uses, like tile. I just don't think you have to touch the surface with the actual steamer or attachment. I'd let the actual steam do the cleaning.
