This song specifically put me on to Tobe and I’ve been following him since. I bumped this track on repeat for days when I discovered it. That’s powerful to me and it resonates when he said my mama thought I was a joke but Ms Badu told me I’m dope. My people didn’t believe in me through many seasons and the affirmations I got from other peeps were very valuable to me. So dope to see you react and vibe to this!
