I'll just say a few words about the PC remake by Superior Interactive, in case anyone watching this is inclined to try it out (and you should; I really enjoyed completing the game and solving all the puzzles). The choice of character *does* make a difference; you don't have to do the long walk round the outside any more; and some of the less fair puzzles have been changed, e.g. the second scroll no longer has to be used right in front of the gate. I've made videos of some levels!
Love the use of (I think) caribbean music! I will check this but I believe the first scroll can be picked up, used and dropped where it is placed, you don't need to take it to the door
It was bloody hard like this guy I got as far as level 2 and I think that was my lot. Very cool look/atmosphere even if did take an eternity to load on tape

I loved Ravenskull, way back in the mid 80s. Unfortunately I was too thick to get very far in it. Still am 😀.

Superior Software has or had their own website where you could buy PC versions. You can of course just play the originals for free on an emulator
