Where do you connect heart beat cable for dstv hd model s decoder ?
Connect any one of the four signal cables from your satellite dish directly to the LNB input at the back of the dstv decoder.
Install a diplexer behind the Explora 1 to sort out the heartbeat.
Connect the Explora 1 to port A on the SLNB and the 5S decoders to ports B or C.
@@pbtecknology I have 2 dstv decoders hd s6 and I to set one up for extraview I have a smart lnb the primary is connected to A and secondary to B but only the primary is working full signal strength but secondary has partial signal . My question is don't they look at the same signal ?

If you're using the AV cable, separate the cable and insert in the red and white cable unto your sound system. Yellow to the TV. If you're using a plasma TV and HDMI cable, you can tap the Audio from the plasma TV to the sound system by inserting the cable in the Audio output port on your plasma TV and then off the sound from the Tv to replace with the home theater. You can also use HDMI for the plasma tv whiles using only the AV cable for the sound system but only use red and white cable. ❤️
So if the decoder is not turning on how do u fix it
For Dstv decoders it's advisable to submit it to the nearest Dstv office for repairs. They have special Technicians for that. Not all Local technicians can help. Sometimes you endanger the decoder more by handling it to local technician
