Jang, your diction and your voice makes these videos so relaxing to just LISTEN to. I love watching your videos, the creativity, the positivity, the content, and the way you say things is something that keep me watching everyday. Keep up with the great videos!
I find that the brick separator is the perfect tool for aligning those pesky 1x1s. Just apply some gentle pressure and wiggle a bit to get pairs of 1x1s aigned perfectly. And it gives your fingertips a rest...
Thanks for doing this. Big Architecture series fan here. Really looking forward to seeing what you'd have to say about Buckingham Palace too, so I'll cross my fingers for that one!
Actually the statue of freedom is facing the front since the set is designed after the front of the building and not the back of the congress building where the presidents agnogtatiin and other events take place. You can tell by how the pillers are laid out, and how there is a single stair case where the back had 2 stair cases going to the centre.
With this piece having such a nice interior space, I think it would be rather neat to throw one or two I brix in clear, on the inside. that is when they finally get around to shipping everyone sets out
Come to think of it, LEGO should design a UCS Capitol Building set, similar to what they did with the Sydney Opera House and the Taj Mahal. This set looks great, but I think a larger model would be even cooler.
My only critique is the colour white, it's going to crack and loose it's colour really easily. I've learnt this from personal experience with my LEGO Architecture interpretation of the Taj Mahal, I placed it in a dark cupboard and it still lost colour and some pieces started to crack, mainly the headlight bricks.
You're thinking of the Rotunda, not Statuary Hall. Statuary Hall is in the old House of Representatives chamber. Totally get that LEGO did the best they could in such a small space though. Good stuff.
Oh, they kind of combined the two here I suppose? I've never been there and only saw pictures of the round side. I didn't realize the other side was flat, or that the room wasn't in the middle! I wonder why LEGO didn't replicate it so, since officially they refer to the feature as Statuary Hall.
Yeah, more paintings of famous presidents in the Rotunda. Wouldn't be the same with this model though. Also having all of the statuefigs on one side of the build would look odd I think. Kind of disappointed that the back is flat!
Jang, in an earlier video, one about a WWII Cobi tank. You asked why the guy's sleeve said Poland? Because Cobi is a Polish company. But I'm not sure if Great Britain enlisted Poles during WWII. But I am a history buff though (just American).
I believe that if you had enough of those Micro figures that you could build a replica of that one temple from Avatar the last Airbender, the one with all of the statues of the Avatar's past lives.
Hey, Jang, I was wondering, what kind of brand/model of camera and lens do you use?P.S. thanks for all you do I always love going back and watching your URC videos from a couple years back. Thanks for making Lego that much more awesome!
hey dude great review overall but you did get one thing completely wrong Lego was absolutely correct and making the statue on top dark grey copper and brass turn green hence the Statue of Liberty. bronze on the other hand is a metal that as it ages turns slightly green and then charcoal black like extremely black so there making it look the appropriate age of the building it's not old enough that it would be really black yet not young enough that it green it would be in between so dark grey is perfect
What did you mean by "The freedom statue is of course always facing away from you"? Are you saying that Americans secretly don't have freedom? I am not american so I don't know if this is some memorial thing, sorry.
There's no secret meaning. It's completely literal. The statue faces towards the East, which in this case is away from the traditional public "front" of the building.
He was being sarcastic. At the time of the review, the Capitol Building dome was undergoing restoration and required scaffolding in order for the crews to reach the top, it's not actually a part of the real Capitol Building, and thus, it is not included in the set.
This is one of the most beautiful looking LEGO sets I've ever seen. I want it...
I have it
If they made a minifigs scale version of this omg I would buy that so fast
It'd be like $6000 but yeah.
+Dapper Blook Possibly even more
Imagine if they made a minifigure scale death star.
A real life size lego death star or super star destroyer.
It'd be so damn expensive.

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all mini figs are created equal...
I'm always blown away how Lego manage to make boring or odd looking pieces appear as something completely unexpected!
Needs more bush minifigs
xdddddddddddddd
Finally you reviewed it
Yep!
I wish either architecture or technic, included at least one minifig, especially if it was rare or exclusive for dedicated set.
I find that the brick separator is the perfect tool for aligning those pesky 1x1s. Just apply some gentle pressure and wiggle a bit to get pairs of 1x1s aigned perfectly. And it gives your fingertips a rest...

I find it helpful to run the pointed side of a Brick separator between the 1x1 tiles to help align them.

With the headlight bricks being crooked you can take the side of the brick separator and push up against them to get them strait.
Wow! This is amazing! It looks so small, but it's actually giant! (For it's scale)
Great review, Jang!
This is one of the few architecture sets that I might pick up.
When I got this for my tenth bday, when I finished, I was so happy bc those indents on the back are for ur thumb when u r carrying it
Awesome! Very nice build! 👍👌
Jang is the best TH-camr ever!!!
Really cool Jangbricks!

This looks pretty similar to the real thing. also having been to it and around it, the creator did a pretty good job.
This looks great, but I'll have to move Fallingwater to display it
Two on the shelf at a Toys r Us (final clearance) 40% off and 20% off total shop. That's a buy, buy!
I always love your reviews🐼👍
Jang, in an earlier video, one about a WWII Cobi tank. You asked why the guy's sleeve said Poland? Because Cobi is a Polish company. But I'm not sure if Great Britain enlisted Poles during WWII. But I am a history buff though (just American).
That looks so good!
Can you do video about power functions
I don't know, CAN HE?
He is using the definition of can in the same way as may, or asking for permission.
I know, but that would be inaccurate grammar.
Great review, again. Another one I have yet to build - sometime!
They should do statue of liberty next. I know they have a polybag set but i want an architecture one :P
Awesome build
You should make a custom City Hall for your Lego city!
I believe that if you had enough of those Micro figures that you could build a replica of that one temple from Avatar the last Airbender, the one with all of the statues of the Avatar's past lives.
They should do the Prague Castle. (and yes, I am Czech)
this would look awesome infront of the huge version on legoland which is about 5 meters long
this looks soooo cool
really nice set
I like it. MY question is, does it come with a scaled flying saucer that can crash into the dome?
+JANGBricks please do the lego architecture of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore!!!
Looks great
Shouldn't superman be there
):-)
LOL
i just noticed, that isn't the white house (I'm Australian sorry)... and Arcinius's quote has no relevance here.
Ok then. Um Ok
Mr Awesome lol
This looks amazing
I ordered this. It'll be at my house tomorrow.
Jang, are you going to do a review on the new burj Khalifa they made? I'd love to see what you'd say about it. Love your videos!
Are you going to review the Buckingham Palace set? I am thinking of buying it, but I would love to hear your opinion first. :)
Ur the best jangggggggg
Jang, you should do a vid where you show us your favourite sets of 2015/16! you don't have too 😂
Will you be reviewing Buckingham Palace as well?
here we have ASMR with JANGBRICKS
Wow. This set is very detailed. How long did it take you to build it?
expecting to find small super mutants inside
with all the architecture sets you could make a module town
I'd be pretty silly to see Big Ben and The Capitol Building in the same street, but I can see where you're going with this!
Yassss
FC Bayern München, der Verein wo einem keine grauen Haare wachsen!
keep up the good work
There should be a golden nanofigure for king Kamehameha in the hall
Hey, Jang, I was wondering, what kind of brand/model of camera and lens do you use?P.S. thanks for all you do I always love going back and watching your URC videos from a couple years back. Thanks for making Lego that much more awesome!
I use a gold nano figure on top of mine. Looks sharp. :-)
Hi there! New loyal subscriber here! Have you reviewed the Architecture White House? I haven't found many good reviews. Thanks!

now why couldn't we do this with louvre
its quite expensive for me, but it looks awesome!
U inspired me to build with Lego's!
HOLY COW
i'm getting this set
amazing set is there anything under those sandgreen done pieces?
dome
X1 1x1 circle stud for it to connect to the roof.
I wish they did both sides of the building.
+JANGBRiCKS
That gives no sense this can't be the smallest architecture set you have build!
Don't you remember the Big Ben?
He said it was the largest?...
*biggest
You're thinking of the Creator set. Here's the LEGO Architecture series Big Ben: th-cam.com/video/Skqlc8aL15U/w-d-xo.html
+JANGBRiCKS
Oh well yeah my fold... I thought it was the architecture set that was the big one...

The freedom statue was made by slaves- kind of ironic
yup
+Peter Adams it was buildt by the french, not slaves...
+Thomas Persaud and it was a gift to the US of A
Air have been inside of the real thing, really nice inside(Believe it or not)
wow nice review
Do you think the Brandenburg gate is worth it
Pudding Gaming nooooooooo
Yes. Fun build and nice set.
do you keep the sets built or do you take them apart for parts?
Cool!
i got it for my birthday from amazon.
replace the white with a tan brown and boom you got the Austin Tx capital building
Love it
Some day this will be "retro"
jang where do you get all your bricks from
Wow it's cool set I go buy it
I want that one😍
I have never bought any of the architecture sets because they cost so much yet are so tiny.
Jang, are you going to do a ninjago season 7 full collection?
this is cool
totally unrealistic, there's no scaffolding on the dome!
Shut up its a great set. You probably couldn't do better
He was being sarcastic. At the time of the review, the Capitol Building dome was undergoing restoration and required scaffolding in order for the crews to reach the top, it's not actually a part of the real Capitol Building, and thus, it is not included in the set.
They should do mall of America
Is it to scale to the White House and Lincoln memorial?
did you put an advertisment on your video.
We need a Lego congress
When he turned it on its side, I sighed, and thought...America will last longer, please do not make it sooner...jeez
Looks good (I should know I live outside DC)
you should update your city
where did i put the remote
I now know what to buy for my Godzilla 1998 to destroy x3
COOL
cool video
What was that effect at the end jang
Dear Jang can build a hotel for your city.
