So don't fall into the trap always ask if they will charge you or not. I recommend to go with an reliable traveling agency because as your parents are old it would be much easier for you to take care of them. Actually we went their with our travel guide so can't comment on the price as our travel guide paid that. And for visa on arrival question. I am sure that there is visa on arrival. If you want to confirm you can Google it out or go to Egypt tourism website.
Sure for solo its good. But having a group is best. People are nice except they will rob you sometimes. Be careful with your passport and money if you are traveling solo
I am student and will be travelling from mumbai to toronto and egypt air is the cheapest one we have like mumbai to cairo than 20 hours lay over in cairo and from cairo to toronto would you suggest this one for student ? free meal and hotel is available in cairo for us !
Egyptair bad and not innovative airline and I'm happy to see them out of Montreal but for Montreal-Cairo route we are going to have their partner airline Air Canada from the 17th of june until Halloween with the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner 3 times a week.
What kind of in flight entertainment system is provided?
A tv with pre-installed games and movies and internet connection(you have to pay for this) and headphone 🎧

No you don't need visa if you stay in the airport for 20hs
You can still if you want to roam around then visa on arrival is present. Its a very easy process
