And there it is.... BEST VIDEO YET! Animation, Will & Cat, drinks, fishing, great sailing video, sail changes, more drinks etc. Bruna and all who shot / edited this should be pretty stoked. Great story!!
Very, Very good! Content was excellent, video sharp and clear as was the audio. No bad language makes it suitable for all ages to enjoy and dream about. Well done guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JC
Very impressive fish guys, congratulations! Stuck at home today after feeling my calf muscle go pop play football last night, enjoyed the video and took my mind of not being able to walk!!
Not cool at all that is a fish every fisherman or woman sets free and even swims free. They are guest in any ocean and should have known that. Bad karma, as even poor locals set them free.
Probably a good idea to catch and release unless you are familiar w/ the species you have caught and familiar w/ the edibility of ur catch. Sailfish is a game fish, not typically eaten, Live and learn.....
Tasha showed that sailfish whose boss!! Great job! Loved the video guys. Bruna great editing and music score. Content on this video was well laid out and enclusive of great sailing, sites, and crewing the boat. Loved it!!!
Very well shot you guys....really enjoyed the visual, music selection and story...from BC Canada. I'm not offshore sailing these days but we are are getting ready for the Land Rover Canadian National Melges 24 this week right in my own town of Kelowna BC better known for Canada's wine country. Over 35 US teams are about to discover how great the sailing is on our 100 mile long lake surrounded by rolling vineyards...looking forward to your future stories until we can make our own again...
Wow, great video. Love the atmosphere you created. Nice catch on that fish. I follow a lot of cruiser videos and I think you all have landed the biggest fish I have seen out of you all.
Awesome video!!! I love the content especially the catch of the year and all the latter shots with that musical score accompanying. Great way to start a Monday for sure.
I have been following your story for a while and I want to say that the cinematography on this episode was beautifully done. Great job everyone and I truly look forward to the next episode.
What an amazing way to start my day. Really enjoyable vid with great editing. Above all great story- Again, can't wait for the next one! Cheers from Cali~
Great video work. Best yet as I love the sailing and not a big fan of a lot of music but the tunes were quite nice and fitting for the pictures. Thanks again.
Awesome job with all your videos. Found you on TH-cam a couple weeks ago and can't stop watching. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Nice sailfish by the way!
I love all your videos, but this one is the best, hands down! editing really gave it more of a story arc with a beginning, middle, and end all tied in seamlessly, and great artistic shots not over done! keep up the good work
Wow, this vid has a nice story! Good music selection! An amazing fish catch! I say the best vid of the monkey easily. Bruna ain't shallow in these depths. Amazing work.
Really enjoying chasing the story and loving all your videos. I have noticed the videography is just briliant since Bruna joined. Well done everyone and safe sailing !.
That was incredible! I don't usually comment on the vids but this one is really special, especially the editing and the sketching. Very creative as always. Thanks for posting.
Well done Tasha! Nice sailfish. In the states, sailfish and marlin aren't considered highly for food value. In the middle of the ocean on a sailboat it was probably delicious. Sails and marlin are gamefish which are mainly catch and release. Unless it's being considered for an IFGA record or placing in a tournament. Landing a swordfish is another story. It's highly regarded for food value, however, you wouldn't likely catch one trolling. They are ocular feeders and mostly stay lower in the water column 1,500+ ft deep during the day. At night they do come up to 150-300 foot range but they mostly strike on drifting baits not trolled baits.
+Shane Potter Interesting. We caught a baby swordfish once and released it. I know (now) that sailfish are often release fish in the States - do you know why? From my research, it's not endangered and from our experience it is a really delicious fish to eat. That fish fed us every day for a month and a half and we never got tired of it! -Tasha
Most anglers or fishermen would rather keep tuna, mahi, wahoo or reef species like snappers and groupers. Sailfish have regulations around them. You or the boat needs a HMS "High Migratory Species" angling permit to harvest one and the fish must be a certain length. I think the general agreement amongst the angling community is catch and release, however, if gut hooked or it expires prior to release....they are great on the smoker.
This was a lovely vid! Thanks Bruna! I had actually almost UNsubscribed (as I simply have way too many videos in my feed too keep up with them all), but now I will absolutely stay tuned. Can't wait to see more as you prepare for adventures beyond the horizon! Keep the good tunes and lovely videography coming 💕
Have you guys ever heard of the boat/people SV Delos? They are the first Sailing people I started watching. It would be really neat to see you guys hook up and hang out with that crew. They are really fun people you guys would like them I think. Thanks for the videos as always I love them!
Nice job on the Billfish!!! Having the right gear and an able crew landed it. As soon as I saw that rod, I knew it was not a Dorado or a Wahoo (Kingfish).
Continuing to impress with the videography and your adventures, they get better and better. Subscribed from the second video. Glad to see you're keeping going around the globe and looking forward to following in your footsteps in the future. Creating from an expat stuck in Saudi Arabia
Okay, a few things. 1. Probably the best video so far! The others were great (don't get me wrong), but this one had all the elements, art, adventure, technical sailing stuff, etc. 2. How many frigging sails do you have? Geezuz! I can't count them all! 3. Did the cats get their share of the sailfish? It's important. I need to know! Great job, guys! Keep them coming and sail west to adventure!
Hi! Just started bingeing the vlog. I read your blog and was so upset when you stopped doing it I couldn't bring myself to watch the videos at first (I know - so stupid). But the videos are fantastic! I'm looking forward to continuing to chase the story with you. I came down to the comments to see if anyone had asked who did the drawing in the beginning - it was amazing! To whomever it was, GREAT job! Lastly I have to chime in on all the fish fanatic comments - I had to look it up, but the sail fish clearly isn't endangered. In the videos so far it seems like you've shown a great regard for wildlife (and a desire to cuddle most of it) and you got the fish to eat not just for sport so.... I frankly don't see what the issue is. Not that you need anyone to validate your decisions, but I thought I'd just put that out there.
Love the video's guys. WOW! That was some sailfish you brought aboard. I do not believe I have ever seen a sailboat catch one of these on film before. Great job! So how many ways can you prepare Sailfish for dinner?
Very enjoyable to watch I have a beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhound that would have to travel with me 😛 or I would have applied for your crossing 😢 she's not a kitty lover... Keep up the fun times
most people usually let a fish like that go, its just how the fishing culture is, but on that how did it taste and how was the texture of the meat? was it tough because it was a huge fish? well done on the catch as well and also when reeling in a fish that big try to keep the tip of the rod up as you should maintain pressure on the fish or it can spit the hook. great job on the video
You have no idea what you are talking about. Sailfish are fairly abundant throughout their range, and their population is considered stable. They are under no special status or protections.
next time you catch a swordfish or a big tuna or mahi its just easear to laze the tail and pull . the hook is useful if you dont have a swimming platform. either way , nice catch
Thanks for all the nice videos. It looks like you never experienced any rough sea at all with cheeky Monkey, or are those moments not recorded, simply because those are the times when you actually have to focus on boathandling and sailing instead of video-making? Anyway, thanks again for making all the nice videos. Already looking forward to the next one! :)
Nice size sailfish. I have caught a few but have never kept any to eat. Are they good eating? We always looking at them as a sport fish so we just catch and release them. If you are in an area that has sailfish there could could be Marlin and they put on a very nice show while you are fighting them. I recommend that the bill fish you catch you are very careful as if you don't control the bill when bringing it aboard they have been known to come alive and tear up the cockpits and even attack you and slash or gore you, you must be vert careful. It is best to get them close enough to leader the fish close enough to grab the bill and either get the hook out or get your feather back and cut the line only losing your hook. If that was a Swordfish you would still be fighting it or would have spooled you they are the toughest to catch and land using a rod and reel. In the local waters by me they used to catch the ones sleeping on the surface by harpooning them. Be very careful with the Bill fish people have been killed by them, you must know how to handle them. Stay safe and have fun.
Thanks Uncle Muir! We were really careful bringing it on board as we were worried it was a sword fish. It turned out to be a sail fish, though we were still careful not to get too close to the bill.
And there it is.... BEST VIDEO YET! Animation, Will & Cat, drinks, fishing, great sailing video, sail changes, more drinks etc.
Bruna and all who shot / edited this should be pretty stoked. Great story!!

+Two aboard Tuuli She is, isn't she?!
Big Fish! There is a wonderful feeling a body gets when there is a full larder.
Very, Very good! Content was excellent, video sharp and clear as was the audio. No bad language makes it suitable for all ages to enjoy and dream about. Well done guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JC
Sailing is beautiful, a dream. thanks!
I really like Bruna's story telling. Its true art.

Acorn squash, bake in oven in half's. When done add butter, maple syrup and a little brown sugar. Safe travels.
Excellent video, great scenery with breathtaking sunsets. you all are great photographers but Bruno brought in a new style, very romantic.
Thanks :)
Tasha you are becoming a professional helmsman and a good fisherman. Great catch
Great video. Great editing. Great fish.
the color correction in this video is fantastic!
Yay, thanks!
Well done videos, and really like the attention to safety /equipment that you use! 😉
Fantastic edit guys, what a beautiful fish to catch. Well done landing that monster.
Very impressive fish guys, congratulations! Stuck at home today after feeling my calf muscle go pop play football last night, enjoyed the video and took my mind of not being able to walk!!
wow that sail fish is HUGE !! great work pulling that on board also i love you guys such great videos
Yeah right?! What a monster! I wouldn't want a beef with Tasha! :) She is one tough cookie!
Sailfish is a game fish, not typically eaten,
Live and learn.....
This Video is really, really brilliant...... go for more of those..... I hope to see more of you .....
Tasha showed that sailfish whose boss!! Great job! Loved the video guys. Bruna great editing and music score. Content on this video was well laid out and enclusive of great sailing, sites, and crewing the boat. Loved it!!!
Best fishing clip we have seen so far from any of the youtubers we follow. Congrats!!
Very well shot you guys....really enjoyed the visual, music selection and story...from BC Canada. One of my favorite episodes, congratulations! Extraordinary editing and soundtrack. Best Regards from Brasil.
Obrigada André!
+Bruna Arcangelo de Toledo De nada! I have just subscribed in your channel, cool! Is there a chance of Cheeky Monkey ancor in Brazil someday?
Hey, I don't know, probably. Everything is possible :)
Awesome video!!! I love the content especially the catch of the year and all the latter shots with that musical score accompanying. Great way to start a Monday for sure.
I really enjoy your stories. Thanks for letting us watch your adventure.
This is quite simply the best video yet guys, can't wait for more to come!
Y'all are stepping it up quality wise. Enjoyed this episode. I think it's time to get a phantom 4!
The best video you guys have made... Great flow in the story and editing... Sets a new standard

Thanks! The next one will be AWESOME!
Great video. The cats are like cats anywhere -- bored and asleep. You need a crazy Tortie like we have -- a cat with an attitude.
Great video work. Best yet as I love the sailing and not a big fan of a lot of music but the tunes were quite nice and fitting for the pictures. Thanks again.
thanks!!
I agree. I liked the music choice on this one.
Awesome job with all your videos. Found you on TH-cam a couple weeks ago and can't stop watching. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Nice sailfish by the way!
Thanks Jerry. Hope you enjoy the remaining videos until you catch up!
love the sunset or dusk video. being on a ship underway looking at the ship's wake brings back fond memories
Wow, Nice Sail Fish, That will feed you for awhile! Thanks
Great video. Nice stop-motion animation, which must have taken hours, no? Did Bruna do the drawing / filming, both?
+Adippen Jemma is our stop animation/drawing genius - those bits are her work :-)
OI Bruna! Acompanho o Chase the Story desde o primeiro video e é muito legal ver você por aí! Os videos estão ótimos. Nice job!!!
Oi Paulo, que bacana! Representando a comunidade brasileira por aqui! Obrigada! :)
Great video, loved your agenda drawing.
This was a great episode! Loved the editing. Reminded me a bit of an Adrian Bliss vlog at a couple of spots. ;)
Thanks Todd!
I've been subscribed since you began. I think this is your BEST video.
Hey guys, I thought your vids were really good before but Bruna has really stepped them up a notch. Nice work Bruna. Great crew pick!
I love all your videos, but this one is the best, hands down! editing really gave it more of a story arc with a beginning, middle, and end all tied in seamlessly, and great artistic shots not over done! keep up the good work
Thanks :) thats so good to read
Nice catch Tasha!! I would love to catch a fish that big 🎣. I'm craving fish now lol.
Really nice footage at the end! Love the story
Nice animation! Makes me want to do some animating. And I guess you guys don't need anymore fish forever. Good luck with the upcoming passages!
Wow, this vid has a nice story! Good music selection! An amazing fish catch! I say the best vid of the monkey easily. Bruna ain't shallow in these depths. Amazing work.
Hey guys. Great video. Def the best you have done so far. Been watching since the beginning and that was far and away the best. Keep it going.
really enjoyed the vid......keep up the good work!!!!
Really enjoying chasing the story and loving all your videos. I have noticed the videography is just briliant since Bruna joined.
Well done everyone and safe sailing !.
Have no idea who is responsible for the opening graphics, but it was REALLY KEWL!
You guys brought a huge smile here, catching that beautiful fish. Well done, I love it :) :) :)
That was incredible! I don't usually comment on the vids but this one is really special, especially the editing and the sketching. Very creative as always. Thanks for posting.
What do we have to catch to get you to comment again Michael? :)
Thanks Michael!
such a cool illustration to begin the video!! I had a boat in Anguilla for 6 years, and I miss it so much. congrats to you both for being adventurous.
Opening animation/graphics are simply beautiful. Very well done intro this time around.
Your previous videos were really good, but this one was just GREAT, way to go Bruna!!!
She's upped the bar, right?
Very Much!!! Keep up the great work :)
omg, THANKS!
Great shots bruna, beautiful.
Your best video yet! Thanks guys
Great camera work and editing on this episode, really enjoyed it.
OH MY GOD! You have the cutest fluffiest most chilled cats in the world! (Except from my own of course ;-) ) They seem to do well with life on sea.
very nice video as always, keep up the awesome work :)

Have you guys ever heard of the boat/people SV Delos? They are the first Sailing people I started watching. It would be really neat to see you guys hook up and hang out with that crew. They are really fun people you guys would like them I think. Thanks for the videos as always I love them!
yes i know delos, but they are not the best, try SAILING LA VAGABONDE,or CATAMARAN IMPI,
Nice job on the Billfish!!! Having the right gear and an able crew landed it. As soon as I saw that rod, I knew it was not a Dorado or a Wahoo (Kingfish).
For me is a marlin,a black marlin
A Black Marlin does not have the long Dorsal Fin like this "Sail" fish.
mmm...yep u right,i check the video twice and u right, but at the end they are bill fish
Great video Bruna. You can film my sailing any day. Keep up the great work. I will follow.
Just let me know when i can come! :D
Continuing to impress with the videography and your adventures, they get better and better. Subscribed from the second video. Glad to see you're keeping going around the globe and looking forward to following in your footsteps in the future.
Creating from an expat stuck in Saudi Arabia
I see your fishing skills are coming along! love it! Complements on Bruna's video work!
+Cesar Gonzalez thanks Cesar! We've still a lot to learn, but it's really helping to feed the crew on long offshore journeys!
Thanks Cesar!
Really Beautiful work Bruna! I say more videos!
Thanks :) stay tuned for the next one!
Loved the last few minutes! Epic! Nice work!

great video. just wanted to say thank you.
I can't beleive you guys have only 20k subs. u deserve much more. like 2M
Thanks Zarko. Got any ideas how we can get the other 1,980,000? :)
+Chase the Story Sailing I'm no expert but I think if u keep doing your thing, subs will come :)
A particularly beautiful film & edit on this one. Nicely done. :)

Great episode! That fish was a BEAST!!!!!! How did it taste? Never had sailfish before. Good job guys!
Video was great!! Nice catch!
By far your best video so far
That's some damn fine B-roll! Loved it!
Who were you saying goodbye to at 3:10? Awesome video as always!
Edit: After re-watching it full screen in HD it looks like Monday Never? Thanks.
Yes, it was Monday Never we were saying good-bye to. LOVE them :-)
most people usually let a fish like that go, its just how the fishing culture is, but on that how did it taste and how was the texture of the meat? was it tough because it was a huge fish? well done on the catch as well and also when reeling in a fish that big try to keep the tip of the rod up as you should maintain pressure on the fish or it can spit the hook. great job on the video
Well,...that's a fish story to end all fish stories ! If it wasn't on video,..no person who fishes would believe you haha "how big was it ?" 😉.
nice pretty cinematic shoots :D
Nice. Im interested to see how south America is.
It's coming up Barry! Next video is out on Thursday - and we're in the wonderful city of Catagena.
Great video editing! good job Bruna
Nice video - your best. but I'm biased because my favorite cruising videos are at sea.
Great video. Guys watch your Mercury intake level, to much fish may not be good for you.Great catch. Really enjoy watching you.
Yes that fish us very high in toxic mercury. Only a disrespectful sea man or woman will kill such a rare almost extinct huge fish!!! Bad Karma.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Sailfish are fairly abundant throughout their range, and their population is considered stable. They are under no special status or protections.
+Brent Allen shame on you trying to justify what several of us said and many are thinking!
Shame on me for having an opinion and facts that contradicts your hyperbole? How fascist of you!
make sure all your cat vet paperwork is up to date when you get to Australia. They are very strict about that stuff.
next time you catch a swordfish or a big tuna or mahi its just easear to laze the tail and pull . the hook is useful if you dont have a swimming platform. either way , nice catch
Great video guys 👍
Thanks for all the nice videos. It looks like you never experienced any rough sea at all with cheeky Monkey, or are those moments not recorded, simply because those are the times when you actually have to focus on boathandling and sailing instead of video-making?
Anyway, thanks again for making all the nice videos. Already looking forward to the next one! :)
got reel right now just to rem the clicker on left side glad u got nice gaff well done
great catch and amazing footage/editing!
Que bonita una vela, cuando se abre al viento...
Nice size sailfish. I have caught a few but have never kept any to eat. Are they good eating? We always looking at them as a sport fish so we just catch and release them. If you are in an area that has sailfish there could could be Marlin and they put on a very nice show while you are fighting them. Stay safe and have fun.
Thanks Uncle Muir! We were really careful bringing it on board as we were worried it was a sword fish. It turned out to be a sail fish, though we were still careful not to get too close to the bill.
Gosh this was wonderful!!!
