Been like 5 years since I skated stumbled upon these guys and told my two buddies who have never skated we should all skate (figured if I'ma skate should bring my friends) and so we are going next week to get there first boards and I'm excited thanks for what you guys do for the skate community I support y'all 100%
I love the Caterpie grip art haven't seen McNugg on a similiar art since the Carlos vs Johnny Geiger video. Awesome stuff guys and congrats to Mog and McNugg on going bro much love guys :D
I noticed at 6:45 in this video you can see that they put them on both trucks not just the back ones......I'm curious what it rides like on both trucks.
They increase the distance between the board and the ground, I would recommend for like a girl who’s afraid of falling or an old person, but I wouldn’t use this after learning to ollie is gonna alter your timings and you will have adjust muscle memory to do the tricks right later
it seems like a solid product to learn certain moves (from my inline skater perspective😏) but learning tricks on something that doesnt roll, could lead to "bad habits" i think!
The easiest way I found was practicing Tictacs you can start on grass just get used to lifting and moving front trucks left and right once you're comfortable you can try on pavement and it'll propel you forward a bit then when your comfortable you'll be a bit more used to lifting and moving your trucks and a faster speed
I learned to skate on gravel, it holds the board still but it also has decent pop but it's brutal to fall on. I later got soft trucks which helped a ton!
Best stationary spot ever is a children’s park with the nice rubber turf. Problem is you can still roll, but it doesn’t hurt falling either. Also you get nice pop too
Oh man.. I came zooming down this hill one time that led into one of those parks and I thought I could cut across that turf... nope. Dug in and went flying.
I snagged 4 rubber stoppers from school and had them on a pair of Ventures in my room when I was 14 , they even rolled a tiny bit and worked decent , best part is it didn’t mess with any of the weight of my board for learning flat ground
I agree with Ricky to a point. I like to learn tricks in the grass, but I can land varial flips every time in the grass, but moving into flat ground it’s actually so different.
I have it...I think there is a foundamental problem: the wheels don't touch the floor. To train for ollie and have a real pop feeling maybe is better to put it on front truck and leave free the back. Great work guys ..stay strong!\m/
You need to put one PU block on the front truck and 1 PU block on the back truck. This way you can leave the wheel closest to you free.. thats how they wer pictured when you pulled up the amazon review
In the photos it also shows one on each truck opposite of each other so that might be better feel for the more experienced skater learning new tricks 🤷♂️
Love how ricky's hates on Amazon skate 👍😆🤣 and duct tape fixes everything, I used to always keep a roll with me at gigs...it will basically fix anything in a drum set too 😊
If really really necessary ok, but rickys approach is the right one... At the beginning practice in the gras, but spending time on a not rolling board is nonsense as rolling IS skateboarding
I wonder why none of you tried putting the trucks on the front truck so you still get that little roll on your flip trick but still get a nice stable landing
Would putting the washer really tight on the bearing do the same thing? Dunno about damaging something, but could it work? Got no skateboard atm, so can't test it.
Hey I really like skateboarding and I’m practicing a Ollie right now I’ve quit in the past but now I’m staying with it but I have question should I get a scooter because I’m going to be traveling or should i be fine with my skateboard i love you guys
so, which skater trainers would you recommend? these arcade ones, or the ones where you put the ones on each wheel? which are easier for a beginner? my little cousin wants to learn to skate, and she’s struggling on flat :)
For my experience, the one that goes onto the wheels got a little scary for me because sometimes I Land on the edges of those trainers. It felt like I was going to fall. I haven’t tried the arcades yet but already placed an order because of these guys. They look more stable to be honest.
13:20 CORRECTION!!! MY DEAR FRIENDS Caterpie is a bug type not a water type and evolve into metapod and then butterfree not Gyarados it’s actually Magikarp thats evolves into Gyarados ur welcome 😜🤙
What the heck are those?! I wasn’t there for this one!
Hi jd
skater trainers but, cool

I want to see Gabe skate more often! By a show of likes how many people want to see Gabe participate in every video atleast once from now on 🤔
Let's Go Gabe!
Yea Same love the dude
Dude I used to straight up expect him to skate in every video I saw him in. Kinda sucks that we see him skate so rarely😞
@@verj9977 yeah he's underrated

YOU GUYS GOT ME INTO SKATING AND I'VE KEPT UP WITH IT EVER SINCE I LOVE YOU GUYS
Chris was right. I have one of these and it help a lot to learn stationary manual
🙌🏻
5:53 ricky has a point though, doing tricks while rolling makes a lot more sense than being stationary 🤔
Love you guys man. I don’t skate but I need positive wholesome vibes and you guys deliver. Keep doing what you do, Imma go get a skateboard
I noticed at 6:45 in this video you can see that they put them on both trucks not just the back ones......I'm curious what it rides like on both trucks.
The fact that gabe wasn't aware that he was on Rick's board says more than enough about the product 🤣
He even stomped it upside down a couple times and still didn’t notice and I think that says more about his obliviousness 😂
Don't rip on gabe the man practically runs braille now 😅
Exactly hahah
@@SticklesGaming I only rip out of love bro 😂
@Mitchell Lion doing it for the love
The instructions you pulled up online show one on each truck. Probably would solve the weight distribution with the kick flips.
weight distribution??? isnt the point to make the trick easier? how easy is a kickflip when the board is heavier by two plastic truck stops lol
They increase the distance between the board and the ground, I would recommend for like a girl who’s afraid of falling or an old person, but I wouldn’t use this after learning to ollie is gonna alter your timings and you will have adjust muscle memory to do the tricks right later
Carpet skating was always my favorite way of learning .
yeah the grass too
lol i bet you cant do many tricks yet tho
it seems like a solid product to learn certain moves (from my inline skater perspective😏)
but learning tricks on something that doesnt roll, could lead to "bad habits" i think!
Hey Braille I want to ask for any tips just to do the turning where you lift your front wheel up and turn if you can help thank you.also great video
We have lots of beginner skateboard videos, put your weight on your back foot and turn those shoulders and hips. Start small.
Rick is so cool. I'm going back through old vids and I get why people in comments ask about him so much.
Best stationary spot ever is a children’s park with the nice rubber turf. Problem is you can still roll, but it doesn’t hurt falling either. Also you get nice pop too
I'm absolutely remembering that!
Oh man.. I came zooming down this hill one time that led into one of those parks and I thought I could cut across that turf... nope. Dug in and went flying.
I tried it out on the soft rubber and the one I was on had too much rebound so the pop was different every time.
@@WATERMOUFskylerdurden happened to me on my longboard, but it can be useful for people learning tricks
I snagged 4 rubber stoppers from school and had them on a pair of Ventures in my room when I was 14 , they even rolled a tiny bit and worked decent , best part is it didn’t mess with any of the weight of my board for learning flat ground
When Rick realizes he can just tighten the wheels to stop them from moving...
Yeah but when you do that it messes with the pop it hard to explain
Not if you use spacers like you should.
Wow I'm really gonna try the tape technique from Rick!! Thanks!
I used to skateboard, havent touched a board in about 15 years. Watching your videos has made me go out and purchase a new board 😂
Haha I love Chris. " you can go this way over 3 beams" I got ya my guy
Yes I've been waiting all day for you guys to post
Dude your guys videos are awesome and I love watching them. You guys have inspired me to try skateboarding. Keep making awesome videos and content!
Ricky is the best beginner ever😂😂😂 great vid by the way
True story
I agree with Ricky to a point. I like to learn tricks in the grass, but I can land varial flips every time in the grass, but moving into flat ground it’s actually so different.
Where is the Chris Pro board video???
you should try them one per each truck diagonal, that is more fun ^^ so that one is on the left back and one on the right front
this video really cheered me up after a not great day! thanks :)
Let's Go!
I would love to see you guys teach somebody how to skate. that would be dope.
you guys got me into skating i cant thank you enough

Rikki is that a hikkie on your neck or a TB skin test.

Around a Meijer store? Braille skateboard sets on clearance right now
Ricky: caterpie is going to evolve into a garydos
Me: LMAO
Gyarados* Do you even Pokémon, brah?
Yeeew another day another braille skate video🤙
You know it!
Where do you guys get the cool griptapes? ✌️
Glo- “oh you got the vert ramp” 😂 he makes me laugh every vid dude
6:34 Skateboarding company doesn't have the foggiest what PU might mean?
Loved Glo's Reaction to Pokemon. lol
Hahaha
For anyone not sure PU is short for Polyurethane. It is a plastic that comes in various forms.
Love your content bro you actually inspired me to start my own TH-cam channel,,,😊
Great throw Glow👊
I've always thought it was easier to do tricks while moving. The momentum helps, for me at least
same
I agree with both ways, honestly
I just got my first skate board to day and its kriptonics and I love it
In the photos it also shows one on each truck opposite of each other so that might be better feel for the more experienced skater learning new tricks 🤷♂️
So what's better, The wheel cover skater trainers or this?
What if you put them on like in the the pictures on the item description? it had one on each truck on opposite corners
Probably need them on each set of trucks. That way the weight is even
And now it's a $34 product lol
Im loving these videos! :D
Glad you like them! 🙌🏻
I get it, and I think it may be helpful for someone learning.
Ricky's duct tape idea is desitined to leaved gunky residue on your wheels and trucks
Love how ricky's hates on Amazon skate 👍😆🤣 and duct tape fixes everything, I used to always keep a roll with me at gigs...it will basically fix anything in a drum set too 😊
Rick do you mind making a video on how to put on that duck tape really need some help here
I was confused at 18:05 thinking that was Ricky in the background
i think carlos lastra did the first ever beam in the braille house . . . by climbing up a latter to the beam and ollieing down
If really really necessary ok, but rickys approach is the right one... At the beginning practice in the gras, but spending time on a not rolling board is nonsense as rolling IS skateboarding
Where does braille get the grip art?😱
I'm on an 8.25 rn pretty comfortable riding anywhere should I switch to an 8.5 my next board
Nah,if u comfy i reccomend not switching
Great video keep it up

Buying these for me and my kiddos. 👍
I used 2 screw the berrings super tight it worked the same
"Rick's device" hahahaha still laughing rn
I wonder where this skate park is at I know its somewhere in the bay area like I am, i live in san Lorenzo ca
You guys should do an episode on deck rails
My board is Arcade, from Amazon.

hehe when Ricky pulled out the duck tape i knew what was coming
You got me to skate when I was 7 and now I am 11 so thanks
You need these in the next Braille olynpics. See how fast you far you can ollie in 1 minute.
*Braillympics
Gabe: Ricky's from the streets
Rick: Ya
Why not have a set of wheels with little wooden/plastics discs instead of bearings?
45th view i love you guys id love to skat with yall but I know only how to manual and barely Ollie
You got this!
I used to use carpet or just tighten the wheels a bunch.
This ductape hack is PERFECT FOR MANUAL TRAINING!!!
Use old bearings and tighten axel bolts up hard simple.
Can you guys go to the linda vista skatepark please?
I could see it being like one of those weight trainer things from an anime, where the guy takes em off and can Ollie forever
Nah, more likely to have to relearn your weight distribution after taking the things off.
why not tighten the wheels to the maximum so that it does not roll?
Facts
Pu is polyurethane which is a kind of plastic. I'm surprised they sell that in California because pu is non recyclable
love this video!
Thanks
I'm glad to see Mowgli back
How much it cost to get some lessons tho ?
