Like many others I couldn't understand the language, but the emotion in your voice has touched my heart. This song takes up a special place in my heart. October last year was the first time I viisited Kashmir, and I swore to myself I would back back to Pahalgam once again in my lifetime. This place has so much memories, the nature will grasp you in it's arms and the mysterious mountains will swallow you up, but you would still want to come back here. It's that feeling.
And that's the feeling I got when I heard this song for the first time.

Like I said before this place will always be special to me, despite it being in a conflict ridden zone since as long as you can remember, but the people who live here they matter, their stories matters and their voices matter. Up until now we could hardly hear from this part of the country, but thanks to artists like Ali Saiffuddin, the whole world can hear his music and whether or not you understand the lyrics you instantly know this song is a keeper for life. I'm not a journalist neither a govt. official I can't change the condition the people are living in there right now, but as an ordinary citizen and a fellow artist I can show endless love and boundless support for all Kashmiri brothers and sisters. :)
