Did u check those 3 capacitors on the module? They have only 4800hrs life time and will die on you whether you drive or not. To know when they will die you have to know when you car was exactly produced … change them and the rack will be back to work ….same rack for. Audi vw Porsche, bentley and Lamborghini.. is that s why it is expansive ..
Have you actually done this on any of these steering racks and did it work for sure. I'm currently down a car due to this and trying to see if I can fix the rack.
@@andy7jr I did open the rack’s box and i did measure the capacitors and they were dead ,the rest was super clean , no rust or oxidation. I had to buy new rack and got it installed before I opened the rack. Given yours is still on , open it and get help changing the capacitors(6-7 usd each) and try it. You still have to go to the dealer to program it for audi sense, and departure lane , costed 235 usd for programing. Dead capacitors wont give power to the steering hence locked steering wheel and steering failure code. I still have the rack and i will test it electronically once i get new capacitors .
Hello. Did you have success changing the capacitors? I have DTC B20000, and C10AD29 I already did a reflash, but the problem persists. The transistors are good.
@@danielsolano3568 after changing the capacitors , i did not install the rack because i went ahead and installed new one. the rack gets powered now but no real test unless if installed in the vehicle. any sign of rust or acid or moisture?

modules are not sold alone , they sell them with the rack. 2-3k usd depends on where you are.

Hamare pass le aana Audi car steering repair kar denge awaaz wala bhi chahe plet ho ya module
Just get anew module mate same issue with my a7 2011
how much a new module cost ?
Do you have to take the whole rack and pinion out to install or can you just cancel the module out with it in the car still
