Adding decadance, ability to place strategic resources, and technology that optionally could go to the industrial revolution would make this game even more amazing and dynamic. You could have steppe hordes researching better cavalry, making a Mongol empire, or various small city states researching castle technology, making them invulnerable until cannons are discovered.

I’d like to ask whether big empires will break apart into much smaller kingdoms over time, or if they become too big? It will make sense, and it will look good. If over time you will have 2-3 stable big countries that wont collapse, that would be boring imho.

In demo revolutions are toggable, so they do by default with an option to disable that

The map editor itself still needs a lot of polish. It is functional but getting moutain ranges right requires a lot more patience than I have.
