First it was because the government was Nazi and had to be demilitarized, then it was to “liberate” the Russians living there, then it was to take those four regions. Putin constantly changed the meaning of the war to make it look like Russia is winning.
I would like to know what people living in Europe and America think about the fact that their tax dollars are being used at such an alarming rate for Ukraine.🤔
Austrian here. Glad that our money goes towards civilians. Have a few friends in Germany though who are very angry at their money being sent to Ukraines military. Mostly because they have a ton of problems with muslim terrorists radicalising at an alarming rate and their police has their hands tied in many ways. Also stuff getting ever more expensive etc.

Russians are losing men like crazy in pokrovsk, i doubt they will continue pouring men there for more than a couple of months or they will run out of steam
Ukraine may have 115,000 men on the Belarus border, but its stretched over 684 miles.....
Belarus have no possibility to carry out an attack, also in the Western ukraine ukraine have weapon storages, ammo deepots, command posts ecc.

I don't get what ukraines doing here, their fighting the russians directly instead of making defensive lines, I mean don't get me wrong, Ukraine's army is strong but the question is, how long will they last like this?
Retaking defensive positions or buying time to reestablish a defensive line most likely. Ukraine likely has several layers of defenses by this point, the Russia advance at such a slow pace that it's probably possible to build a new line of fortifications every time one is breached.

Have you noticed how Russia advances through fortified for last 10 years areas and ukrainians are searching for the weakest spots without any fortifications?
Because the Sumy border is 350 miles long & only has 90,000 soldiers stretched out over several hundred miles. It seems like a lot but it's not. Russia is calling up reinforcements from their training facilities now, this is all temporary. Once we get a new president, Europe is on their own. 2025 will not show the same narrative

Russia has a tradition of sending their troops to be slaughtered and suffering extremely high casualties. In Russia, a person's life is worth absolutely nothing, so when Russia loses 600.000 men, that means Russia lost nothing.
Also keep in mind that Russia's army is NOT 3M strong, but about 900k strong. Reservists don't count, as they're unwilling to fight.
