instead of giving pressure using palm... keep beating the dough with rolling pin for few seconds... by doing this not only u get soft dough/ chapathi.. t 'll also give me some stress relief 😅

good. however if the dough is left for 3 hrs or so, it kind of ferments and the rotis become super soft.. and ofcourse more water is needed for roti dough compared to poori dough.

I've been eating Roti my whole life and it's made with two ingredients - Aata and water
Same but many people add either salt or ghee or oil in their dough
In Tamilnadu people add oil.
In Andhra we add oil and salt too, for chapatis
