So my account got locked after I got reported for cheating on widowmaker.. Don't worry I got unbanned instantly since all that was needed was a security check. (I don't cheat)

Dont worry about the ban , even me i got ban 2 times for playing with widowmaker, they said i was cheating but when the anti-cheat verify my account saw i was legit so they unban me 2 times , its simple , when players get so many reports the overwatch team just ban you and we need send a email for them to verify its kinda stupid that but ye whatever , you are insane anyways

To some extent maybe, after a while it gets incredibly annoying and it just feels bad that people can’t admit you’re good, they’d rather blame it on cheats than accept they’re getting rolled by someone better.

It's been so cool seeing Kenzo go from Diamond near the start of the channel to t500 now and getting banned cause he is too good. Really appreciate your persistence in getting better and rarely tilting. Lord knows that's the hardest part.
yes i agree. i think that is the main problem. last time i watched him, like others have said "he wasn't that good" and by that i mean he wasn't god damn amazing, i don't mean that as a backhanded compliment. he really is amazing. he mustve really been practicing a lot more recently than he normally does, or maybe i just missed a video. he's hitting crazy shots. i think that is why he is accused of cheating so much though. he was pretty good just not this amazing. good for him though.

It does frustrate me to see people falsely accusing you of cheating but I have to admit I might be a bit suspicious if I didn't know any better. I also feel really bad for the squishies on any team that goes against you and sympathize with why they're upset. Hopefully you getting unbanned by Blizzard themselves will help clear things up for anyone you play against from here on out

@@semiramisubw4864 Yeah I'm pretty sure it is because I've been playing my account for 6+ years and it got banned just this past month out of no where. But customer support has just been a wall for me.

To be fair, Kenzo's aim is on a level far beyond 99.999% of players. If I saw this (I wouldn't because I suck and would not matchmake against him) I would think this would be sus at first. Kenzo's aim is nasty and his flicks make my eyes water. The chances of encountering a player this UNGODLY good is so insignificant it would be like winning the lottery.
The mouse cam makes a huge difference too. Reminds me of Dfalt & TGD from COD.
Not to mention how Widow just is the character so many cheaters use, so it does not really help the case. But if the enemy team would have paid any attention then they would have noticed how he was not hacking, like so many body shots, missed shots etc. If a real Widow hacker would be in your lobby, they would probably only get headshots and be way more obvious about it, at least that's what I noticed from playing and encountering hackers playing Widow.
@darkblossum4379 it's not always that obvious, and if a hacker is gonna make it to such a high level, they can't make it that obvious, or they'll get banned before they reach that level. Not saying Kenzo cheats, pretty sure he doesn't, but if cheaters are smart about toggling on and off at the right times, or use a trigger bot while still toggling strategically, it can be quite difficult to tell

@@darkblossum4379 I mean, there are obviously 3 kinds of hackers. Rage hackers, just really bad hackers, and those who tune their hacks so they get that 1-2% boost to get through the gap.
For obvious reasons, we can just ignore the former 2, the last one is more important.
These kinds of hackers are genuinely skilled players, maybe among the top percentiles but don't feel like they're improving to close the gap between the talented. These kinds of cheaters are genuinely hard to spot even through slowmo.
I recently got banned for popping off as widow in comp, it felt amazing at first but then i realized that i wasn't getting my account back ;(

It would not be the first time something like this happens tbh, in Valorant for example a lot of the top 100 players have been banned for using Triggerbots, some of them were streamers.
Triggerbots are really hard to detect because they are not Aimbots, this cheat just shoots for you when there is an enemy head in your crosshair, you still need to aim.

Blizzard's automated punishment system is a joke, I've already tested whether there is a possibility of suspension/silence or perma ban even without breaking the rules, and the answer is yes!
even without typing absolutely anything in the chat and with the voice muted if people do fake-report on your account you can be banned even without having done anything..
what will dictate if you get banned or not, is the amount of time you play without breaks, that is, if you play sporadically at most 10 games a week, you can even break the rules that your account does not reach the number of reports for suspensions, now if you play solo competitive multiple hours all day long for example, your account will be banned even if you haven't done anything..
I've been playing games since the 90's, I caught every period of counter-strike on the lans and after 2005 I only played on the internet, I played several games, I have more than 150 on my steam, and NEVER, I repeat! NEVER!!!! I have taken any type of suspension from any company other than blizzard...
I even have a ban on world of warcraft because the self-punishment system thought it was a bot farming herbs and my account was banned by "bot" , I tried several times for tickets and at the time even over the phone to talk and ask for a ban review and they just shit for me, and honestly I never got to play wow dnv again, I'm disgusted by blizzard for having such an unfair punitive system and definitely would like those responsible to be penalized for so much injustice... I know that this will hardly happen in this world, but if divine justice does not fail, many will burn in hell

I recently deranked a bit because I kept playing when I was sleep deprived like a dummy and got called a cheater too the next time I played and was awake. I swear no one can comprehend the idea of someone being better at the game than them no matter how low their rank.

Once got accused of wallhacking on widowmaker. I had my wallhack ultimate up. The widow was running through a hallway on numbani. I knew where she was going to peak because of that. She was instantly killed. She called me for hacks. It ended up being POTG. The enemy team laughed and said their widow was bad. They still insisted i was hacking lol. Never been banned on anything for cheating in my life

I find it funny when players in any game call someone out for hacking, unless they recognize the in game name as a pro/well-known player, in which case they're praised as gods. Any non-influencers that play really good are just hackers to them :p
