Thanks for the video! (The last section, the audio was a bit hard to hear). Would you be able to do a video for how to return the serve where it’s a good lob serve into the backhand corner and you are forced to take the ball off the back wall? I can do it to some degree, but when I see high level players they often make it look so easy!
Do you mean off the side wall? So when you have to volley the ball after it’s hit the sidewall? Or do you mean when it bounces on the floor and hits the back wall?
@@SquashForce I'm thinking of when you receive an "ideal" serve that hits high up on the sidewall, and then and then bounces on the floor and back wall. I found an example by Ali Farag, I will put a link in my next comment.
I see what you mean! A lot of it comes down to the first point I made which is analyzing the serve. In this case Paul Coll knew he didn’t have to volley and that the ball would have enough bounce for him to take it later. If the ball had less pace he would have hit a volley knowing that if he lets it go it will die in the corner. So I think you want t focus on volleying as many serves as possible. Good shout tho maybe I can make a video on this some time :)
@@SquashForce right, thanks, that’s an interesting way to think about it! I will keep watching though so if you do make a video sometime I will be interested to see it!
Awesome content haven't seen too much of these videos
Thank you!

Thank for showing how to practice :D
Any time!
You need to redo the sound from 5:45
What ball do you use for these drills - double yellow or something else?
I use double yellow for myself as that is the ball I play competition matches with.
