Brought me to tears. We were blessed with our 7lb bundle of love, Bandit our TR terrier, for almost 18 years. Aptly named since there was no sock safe from this little trickster - not to chew on but to steal and place in his stash in the bottom of my youngest brother's closet. He became part of our family on my 15th birthday. I'm now a septuagenarian and remember him like it was yesterday. Thank you GWTD - so appreciate your channels.

Looks EXACTLY like my Jack Russell. She "looked" sweet, but she was 14 pounds of fury. She never met another dog that intimidated her. Her favorite pastime was keeping our yard free of anything that was alive.
Just like my first JR too - solid muscle and Queen Anne front legs! Would do anything for food, but would escape every chance he could! He was with us for more than 15 years. ❤
Apparently, teddies are what I’ve known as short-legged rat terriers. I’ve had rats for most of my life, and they’re the only breed I could compare to the fury of a chihuahua. Food, rodents (aka moving food), and territory are their tenets, and they are *devoted*
They were once called Feist Hounds and come in 3 heights. Also called Rat Terriers, but we affectionally called ours a Rat Terrorist. Scooter was sixteen and a half years old. We miss her dearly.
I’m there with you on the Rat Terrorist! Terror is a valid description they don’t back down lol. I also say mine is a VegeTerrier because she eats any vegetable I give her. She’ll go for my leftover baked potato before the steak scraps every time 😂
@@pamela5250 Oh I hear you, Scooter liked most every thing we ate, Biggest issue we initially had was she would sit on our larger year old dog who did not mind that. I learned Scooter was being dominate and we nipped that in the bud. She also must of been allowed to be all over the previous owners furniture. So we had to teach her that when we were home she had to wait to be asked to get up with us, like our other dog did. Other than alerting us to the mail man all the time ..lol, she was just a joy to have. Oh and she hated being on a diet which happened because she would work hard to steal food from our older dog. I swear she didn't eat her food, she inhaled it. :))
