What amp and doc are you using for those headphones ?

I usually use the RME ADI2 but also the iFi Diablo. It depends where I use it. I tend to prefer the Diablo on this pairing... but it is just a matter of taste I guess.

What's the highres audio sticker on all the T1 amps and headphones for . I've seen it so much everywhere . Congrats on the headphone btw

Thanks! I think the Hi-Res audio is meant for music which is above the traditional CD quality 16 bit / 44 kHz. If you do use streaming, you can get with Qobuz (as an example) 24 bit 192 kHz. You can also buy music like that. Depending on the recording, you should get more information, more details... to make it short, it is supposed to be better.

How have u been liking this combo almost a week later ?

To be honest, the HD800S became my daily headphones except for the meetings. For that I use the combo FOX+TYGR 300R.
The sound is much much better compared to the other headphones I have. I still use the HD660S when I cook for example or the ATH-M50x when I am outside.
The HD800S is a great piece of equipment and I cannot enjoy my music without using it.
I know there still better things out there... I'm saving money ;)

@@cernus2279 Glad ya like them a lot! Looking forward to hearing them myself in the future now with the pairing. Probably going to be my endgame as well, I know it will be a great all rounder.
Ru still using the dt1990s? Or are those just sitting now lol

@@spooky1640 To be honest I use all the headphones I have. The one I use the most is the TYGR 300 R because of the home office situation.
The HD800S is my favorite one for music but sometimes I also use the HD660S or the DT1990 Pro. Depending on what is plugged and where, I sometimes just take what is available. I used the DT1990 Pro a lot for the last 2 days because I received another DAC and wanted to compare it against the RME ADI-2 DAC. This reminds me I should post another video... ;)

@@cernus2279 gotcha gotcha, I myself don’t like to own multiple headphones, just one all-rounder at a time. Usually just sell the pair I upgraded from. It works out for u tho since I see u have different use cases for different cans, I’m only listening to music + gaming haha. But yea dude, glad it really is a solid pairing with the RME.

@@spooky1640 I know the MRE ADI2 DAC is not perfect but you can still use it with another amp for your headphones. The 800S is quite good and comfortable.
But I do understand your point of view which I share BTW. The headphones I use the most when I do not have online meetings? The DT 1990 Pro. I think it is my all-rounder cans. Music, Gaming (just AOE2DE) and videos.
